Digital Griffix film awards is now an IMDB listed international awards competition (Digital Griffix Film Festival). We are both a Film festival and a photography contest.

Our trophy is a beautiful crystal eagle head that can be shipped worldwide !

We are planning to do a live screening of some nominees with films who also sent their film in the LIVE SCREENING category in 2026. If you receive a finalist badge, it means that your film will be screened ! Winning photographies will be displayed during our event. We are eager to also see Quebec's emerging talents !!

If you only want to enter our awards competition without screening consideration, you are absolutely free to do so as well.

Our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen all films onsite. You have to be nominated and you have to send your film in the Live Screening category as well. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career.
Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !

We do NOT select everyone for the festival. Only nominees will be selected.

Awards & Prizes

Trophies available to the best films of the year (Best fiction film, Best Documentary, Best Animation). As a VFX company, we are offering a free VFX 3D modeling package to all award winning filmmakers of all seasons and in all categories, which includes a 3D character (creature) or 3D model ready for production that you can choose from our 3D store. We make interviews either by zoom or writing with some nominees and winners ! Those are then shared on our social media.

Rules & Terms

All entries should be sent via FilmFreeway with a secure online screener/File.

You can submit to multiple categories.

By submitting to the festival you confirm that you own the rights of the film, including the music rights.

Note that we do NOT screen films online. The films are screened privately by the jury.
