Derby Film Festival is one of the leading regional film festival in the UK. Bringing together film fans, filmmakers and industry figures, Derby Film Festival is four days long and will run from 17th to the 21st November 2022.
The patrons of Derby FIlm Festival are actor/director David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and Anwen Hurt.
Screenings, previews and showcase events with major figures from the world of film will be accompanied by panel discussions, workshops and masterclasses.
In 2020, we went online for the first time with a very successful festival showcasing the best in cinema from around the world.

In 2021, we previewed Cannes Award winner Titane (2021), Lamb (2021) , River (2022), Cow (2022) alongside a range of submitted films. We also showcased classic silent film Metropolis with live organ accompaniment at Derby Cathedral.
Special guests included Molly Windsor (Make Up), plus directors John Williams (Tales Of The Creeping Death), Repeat (Richard Miller & Grant Archer).
