Daniel Maslen is a graduate student filmmaker from Glasgow Clyde College and a 1st Degree alumni from Ravensbourne University, London. During his time in higher education, Daniel built a varied portfolio of dramatic shorts and has been nominated for numerous awards.
Alongside filmmaking, Daniel is also a competitive Strongman, competing in multiple competitions such as South East England's Strongest Man. He actively uses the folklore and culture surrounding his sport to create historical and genre content.
After leaving higher education, Daniel has set up as a freelance director and creates an array of genre narrative content. His most recent film, 'Konungr' has won, made official selection and been nominated for awards in 17 festivals worldwide.
