Crown Heights Film Festival (CHFF) brings exceptional local and international short films to the Brooklyn audience. We encourage all filmmakers to apply to our open call: narrative, animation, and documentary films will be selected and presented during our live event.

Rules & Terms

• Films are 20 minutes or shorter.
• Must be in English or subtitled in English.
• Must be accessible for online viewing (through YouTube, Vimeo, or any other platform)
Accepted submissions must be in .mp4 format
• Film submission deadline: June 23, 2023

    The Crown Heights Film Festival in Brooklyn is an outstanding festival for filmmakers, actors and crew. They gave the utmost respect to all involved in the filmmaking process, We had representation from all areas of our film, "Suction" and all were welcomed on stage to discuss their experiences with the large audience in attendance. There was excellent publicity and communication throughout by festival administrators. We are hopeful of returning with our next film in 2023.
