Al postularse para la inscripción del Festival de Cine Corrosivo, se da a entender que ha leído y aceptado el presente reglamente para que la película (ficción o documental) y los cortometrajes de toda clase así como los videoclips que sean recibidos por el equipo del festival puedan ser mostradas durante las fechas del festival en la Sala Garbo dentro del marco del festival.
El festival se llevará a cabo entre las fechas del 30 de agosto al 07 de setiembre del año 2024

El Corrosivo Film Festival incluye las siguientes secciones en su programación:

Condiciones generales:
Requisitos:
· Haber enviado el formulario antes del 05 de Julio del 2024.
· El material audiovisual debe ser enviado a través de la respectiv1plataforma FilmFreeway para ser vista y entrar en etapa de preselección, teniendo todos los requisitos cumplidos, y el link (con Password en caso de requerirlo) para su visionado
· Deben ser películas y cortometrajes estrenados a partir del año 2020 y hasta el año en curso.
· Para participar en la categoría de Mejor Largometraje, la película no debe haber sido estrenada antes en salas comerciales a nivel nacional, y debe ser estreno en territorio costarricense.
Si la película ya ha sido estrenada, puede ser parte del festival igualmente pero no podrá participar por el premio del festival.
· Las películas y cortometrajes a enviar deben ser de la categoría de terror, horror y/o fantasía, en cualquiera de sus respectivos subgéneros que hagan notar que la intención es aprovechar los elementos del terror, horror, ciencia ficción, fantasía y demás del espectro, en cualquier género.
· Las películas pueden venir en cualquier idioma, siempre y cuando se provean los subtítulos, preferiblemente en español o si no hay en inglés.
Normativa de las categorías:
I. Cortometraje:
Los cortometrajes tendrán una duración MÁXIMA de hasta 45 minutos, deberán haber sido grabados a partir del 2021.
· Los cortometrajes deben tener elementos del género de terror, horror, fantasía, ciencia ficción o algún subgénero o temática que incorpore elementos de los anteriores dichos.
· Puede ser cortometraje de ficción, documental, animado u experimental
II. Largometraje
· Los Largometrajes tendrán una duración de Mínimo 60 minutos, y deberán haber sido estrenadas ya sea en el 2021.
· Los largometrajes deben ser del género de terror, horror, fantasía, ciencia ficción o algún subgénero o temática que incorpore elementos de los anteriores dichos.
· Los Largometrajes pueden ser de ficción, documental, animado u experimental.
III. Videoclip
Al ser la música parte integral de la cultura cinematográfica, abriremos la sección de videoclips, de cualquier género musical, siempre y cuando incorpore elementos de terror, horror, fantasía, magia, o elementos sobrenaturales. No hay restricción a género musical.
Costos de envío al festival:
La organización del Corrosivo Film Fest dará a conocer los resultados de manera oficial mediante un comunicado directo a quienes su obra sea elegida, para luego dar a conocer al público las obras seleccionadas con la info y el catálogo del festival
- Los costos de envío del DCP final para la exhibición (en caso de enviarlo) correrán a cargo de la productora/distribuidora del film, comprometiéndose a que estos lleguen a tiempo.
- Los costos de regresar el DCP a la productora correrán a cargo de la organización del festival
Al llenar el formulario y si quedan elegidos la productora/ distribuidora del Film se compromete a enviar un KIT de PRENSA con toda la información necesaria para una correcta y apropiada divulgación del audiovisual. Siendo requerido lo que se pida en el comunicado de aceptación a enviar o lo que pida la página de la convocatoria.
Cada participante es responsable del contenido de su trabajo y de cualquier posible problema de derechos de autor. El participante posee todos los derechos relativos al uso de su trabajo de acuerdo con la normativa. El Comité del Festival no tiene responsabilidad frente a terceros. El Comité del Festival tiene derecho a rechazar películas, si el contenido o la calidad técnica no corresponde a las condiciones del Festival

FESTIVAL RULES
By applying for registration at Corrosive Film Festival, it is understood that you have read and accepted these regulations so that the film (fiction or documentary), short films of all kinds and videoclips received by the festival team can be shown during the dates of the festival in Sala Garbo within the time period of the festival.
The festival will take place from August 30 to September 07 of 2024.

2- General Conditions
Requirements
-Fill out and send the inscription form before July 05th 2024, accepting to be part of Corrosive Film Fest.
-The movie must be sent through FilmFreeway in order to be analyzed and pre-selected by our team. If the link to your movie private screening needs a password, please provide as required.
-The registration dates for the festival range from MARCH 15 to July 05, 2024.
-To participate in the Best Feature Film category, the film must not have been released before in commercial theaters nationwide, and it must be released in Costa Rican territory.
If the film has already been released, it can still be part of the festival but it will no be able to participate for the festival prize.
-The Feature Films and Short Films sent to Corrosive Film Fest must be based on horror, terror or fantastic themes, in any of their own sub genres.
-The feature films and short films can be in ANY LANGUAGE, as long as the producer provides the subtitles (preferably in Spanish, but English is also valid)
RULES BY CATEGORY
SHORT FILM
The short films must have a MAXIMUM duration of up to 45 minutes, they must have been recorded from 2021 up to date.
The short films must have elements from the genres of terror, horror, fantasy, science fiction, or some subgenre or theme that incorporates elements of the aforementioned.
It can be a fiction, documentary, animated or experimental Short Film
FEATURE FILM
The Feature Films must have a MINIMUM duration of 60 minutes, and must have been released from 2021 up to date.
· Feature films must have elements from the genre of terror, horror, fantasy, science fiction or some subgenre or theme that incorporates elements of the aforementioned.
· Feature films can be fiction, documentary, animated or experimental.
VIDEOCLIP
As music is a vital part of cinematographic culture, we will open the video clip section, for any musical genre, as long as it incorporates elements of terror, horror, fantasy, magic, or supernatural elements. There is no restriction to the musical genre.
SELECTED MOVIES AND SHORT FILMS
The organization of Corrosive Film Fest will announce the results officially through a direct communication to those who have been chosen for their work, and then make the selected works known to the public with the information and the festival catalog.
- The shipping costs of the final DCP for the exhibition will be borne by the producer/distributor of the film, committing that they arrive on time.
- The costs of returning the DCP to the producer will be borne by the festival organization
By filling out the form and if they are chosen, the producer/distributor of the Film undertakes to send a PRESS KIT with all the necessary information for a correct and appropriate dissemination of the audiovisual.
Each entrant is responsible for the content of their work and for any potential copyright issues. The participant owns all the rights related to the use of his work in accordance with the regulations. The Festival Committee has no responsibility towards third parties. The Festival Committee has the right to reject films, if the content or technical quality does not correspond to the conditions of the Festival
