Collective Film Festival London returns for its second year, continuing its mission to uplift diverse, underrepresented voices in cinema and provide a meaningful platform for emerging filmmakers. After a successful inaugural edition in July 2025 - which featured over 15 international films, the UK premieres of '50 Hours Underwater' and 'Under My Skin', curated strands of compelling shorts and features, and a series of workshops, masterclasses, and networking events - CFFL is growing as a dynamic space for connection, discovery, and creative growth.
Now established as a vibrant fixture in London’s independent film landscape, the festival proudly partners with respected industry names including BACKSTAGE and Celtx, to support and showcase emerging talent.
CFFL is deeply committed to amplifying voices that often go unheard, championing stories that challenge convention, reflect lived experiences across cultures, and inspire change. This festival isn’t just a showcase - it’s a community-building event designed to connect filmmakers with peers, mentors, and industry professionals.
The programme features a rich blend of activities including:
- Hands-on workshops
- Industry masterclasses
- Filmmaker Q&A sessions
- Industry and peer networking
- Celebratory awards honouring creative achievement
- Afterparty and Karaoke
We champion films that resonate with audiences, tell unique stories, and leave a lasting impact. All official selections receive festival laurels, and winners are celebrated with trophies and recognition across categories like Best Director, Best First-Time Filmmaker, Best Screenplay, and more.
Collective Film Festival London is more than a one-day event - it’s an evolving platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of filmmakers and helping them take the next step in their creative careers.
Award categories include: Best Actor, Best Director, Best Film, Best Screenplay (sponsored by Celtx), Best First-Time Filmmaker (sponsored by Celtx), and a Celebration Award.
