Located on the beautiful grounds of WInona State University, surrounded by rocky limestone bluffs, the inaugural Cloven Hoof Film Fest features the works of local students and community members in this charming River Valley city. Winona, Minnesota is best known for it's convenient location on the Mississippi River and its rich arts and cultural programming. The Cloven Hoof Film Fest is open to submissions of all genres, short, and feature length films from all ages of filmmakers. Held on April 6th, 2024, in the Science Learning Center on the Winona State University campus, the festival runs from 1pm to 5pm CDT.

If chosen, your film will run in front of a live audience on the big screen! There will be awards for Best of Fest, People's Choice, and Winonan Charm.

- Films from all filmmakers are eligible
- Films should have a runtime of less then 50 minutes
- All films must be submitted online
- There is no entry fee to submit a film
- Filmmakers can submit more then one project
- Filmmakers can submit works in progress
- Works in Progress are not guaranteed entry
