Christina Capra was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Santa Barbara, California. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she studied film theory, directing and screenwriting. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies and a minor in Psychology. She is very passionate about film preservation and early cinema studies.
