Award of Recognition for Direction
A third generation filmmaker, Christina Capra was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Santa Barbara before moving to Wilmington, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies.
I am so thankful to the artist Virginia Wright-Frierson for sharing her story with us. She speaks so eloquently about her work. The projects she has worked on throughout her life really mean a lot to people. I hope people enjoy seeing her story come to life as much as I enjoyed making this film.
