Rules & Terms

Submission Requirements: All submission must be accountable to biblical principle. This does not mean it has to be a Christian film or message. It means the film must be made with Christian values. No profanity, nudity, sexual content, unnecessary violence, etc.

We accept Feature films (Films longer than 45 minutes), Short films (films shorter than 45 minutes), Mini shorts (Under 5 minutes), Music videos or Web/TV pilots.

You may submit narratives or documentaries.

    We were incredibly honored to have our film, “The Stranger” selected to participate in the 2023 Cherub Film Festival. The organizers were very personable, gracious and quick to communicate. With an online forum relying on viewership judging, The Cherub Film Festival allows selected filmmakers to share their works with friends, family and mass audiences while still on the film festival circuit, without infringing upon festival premiering rules. Such an incredible opportunity to reach diverse audiences. Highly recommend the Cherub Film Festival!

    Didn’t know about how this festival would go at first, but we decided to see what results we would get if I didn’t add any outside influence. To our surprise we had over 1700 views and won a 5 Star Cherub Award. The organizers had a family emergency during this festival so I’ve been praying for them. Please do the same.
