What scary story would you tell around the campfire?

Throughout history, mankind has used the oral tradition to educate, to entertain, and to scare. Campfire Scares Shorts Festival has reimagined the idea of telling scary stories around a campfire as a film festival. Featuring shorts in the Horror, Suspense, and Thriller Genres, our goal is to give students and professionals a platform to be seen in an anthology series outside the festival circuit.

Winning projects will be featured in a streaming series titled “Campfire Scares”. Three winning shorts will be selected per episode which will include royalties paid to the film makers from profits generated on the streaming platform.

Rules:
- Films must be submitted through Film Freeway.
- Should be scary scenes or tales within the horror, suspense, and thriller genres that keep you on the edge of your seat.
- No less than 5 minutes and no longer than 20 minutes.
- Shorts must be original and film makers must own all rights of the content.

The more suspenseful, the better chances film makers have of being selected for addition to the series.
