Campfire Scares Shorts Festival is an International film festival featuring shorts in the Horror/Suspense/Thriller genre.

The main objective is to give students and professional film makers a platform for their projects to be seen outside the film festival circuit.

Winning projects will be featured in a streaming series titled “Campfire Scares”. Three winning shorts will be selected per episode which will include royalties paid to the film makers from profits generated on the streaming platform.

Submit short films to the festival through Film Freeway. Shorts should be like stories about scary scenes or tales.

The streaming series will be in the form of scary stories told around a summer camp campfire. Shorts should be no less than 5 minutes and no longer than 20. Preferred length is between 10 to 15 minutes.

Stories can be about situations, creatures, intruders or anything that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The more suspenseful, the better chances of being selected for addition to the series. Shorts must be original and film makers must own all rights of the content.
