  • We've been part of the COMPOSED Short Film Festival twice, first with "Legacy," in collaboration with poet Fiona Tinwei Lam, and just recently, with "The Fool's Song," in collaboration with musician Patty Larkin, who had the terrific idea to set William Carlos Williams' poem to music, now that it is in the public domain, and adding the context of immigration. We added the video, and are are honored and delighted that this adventurous festival has given us such good exposure.

This was an amazing festival. Angela Rebrec and the other board members of the Delta Literary Arts Society, work extremely hard throughout the year to make sure that this event is a success. That is dedication. Thank you Angela, Anna and everyone at the Delta Literary Arts Society who believed in me, encouraged me and supported the film.

  • Lovely small festival with a lot of heart run by a small, dedicated and committed team. Excellent top notch venue for screening this year at the theatre in the North Delta centre for the arts. Free popcorn, air conditioning, awards given out at the end of the screening, carefully curated and diverse selections that we really enjoyed watching.
