We will offer a high-quality festival with a unique charm. We have only ONE jury and that is the audience who will watch the jewel of creativity.
We want you to get involved. Change Things. We seek stories that make us laugh, think, cry, sit taller in our seats and ask, “What can I do?”
Srijoner Hut, works to connect expression – artistic, political, social, and personal – to positive, respectful vehicles for action and change. The festival program is carefully curated to create a place for open dialogue, using the films as catalysts for change.

Srijoner Hut is proud to present the 8th Bengali Film Festival of Dallas on August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2025—a grand celebration of Bengali cinema, culture, and heritage. This year, we are introducing the theme "Nakshi Kantha," a centuries-old embroidered quilt art form that originated in the rural landscapes of Bengal, now part of Bangladesh and India. Beyond the silver screen, the festival will be enriched with a Nakshi Kantha exhibition and a fashion show, curated by Tahsina Shahin, the renowned fashion designer from Sadakalo. This marks the first-ever showcase of Nakshi Kantha fashion in North America, blending tradition with contemporary creativity. Join us in celebrating the artistry, storytelling, and cultural richness of Bengal like never before!
