WHO ARE WE?

A brand spanking new screenplay competition looking to honour and award fantastic, innovative and original screenplays. We're a team of passionate storytellers and professionals who understand the daily grind of being a writer.

We want to discover new, fresh and exciting writers with a unique story to tell. If you think you have hot property, submit and have your work read by an industry professional.

We're new and because of that we're keeping our submission fees as low as possible!

WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?

Australasia is a region which comprises Australia, New Zealand and some neighbouring islands in the Pacific Ocean. We think it's a pretty cool opportunity to have your work read and recognised on this side of the globe!

Anybody! From anywhere in the world!

WHAT IS THE ONE PAGE PRIZE?

Scoot your eyes over to our categories and you'll see one for the 'One Page Prize'. This is a special little competition we run for all those wanting to test themselves with telling a story in just one page. It's simple. Write and submit a one page screenplay of any genre and if you're selected as the winner we'll send you a sweet cash prize of $50. Entries for the One Page Prize are only $5! Give it a go!

Please note for Podcast submissions, if you'd like to also send through a link to the finished episode AS WELL as the script you are submitting then that is encouraged but not mandatory as you will be judged mainly by the words on the page.
