The Animday Awards is the industry-leading animation info-portal Animation Galaxy, specially dedicated to creative Animation. It endeavors to provide exposure to animation talent from a variety of perspectives, places and people around the globe. It is a show, it is a contest, it is a festival and it is an opportunity, where EVERY animator, filmmaker, etc is invited to showcase his or her creative magic, where the sky is the limit to the imagination.
Animday 2023 has set its eyes on evolving into an international platform to showcase the talent of established as well as young and independent professionals from across the globe.

NOTE : PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES CAREFULLY ON GIVEN CATEGORIES. ( eg. Animation Short Film - Student.. entries must be submitted in same category, each category have different ENTRY FEES. )
Entries for Animday 2023 are open to all national, and international Industry equally for budding professionals, learners and pure amateurs and experimenters for the sake of fun.
Awards: Animday Awards are purely for the competitive festival and carry Trophies in various categories finalized by our honorable jury panel.
Subtitles : Films can be with dialog, silent or without dialog. For films other than in English language, It must have English subtitles.
Entries with incomplete details & entry fees will be accepted as incomplete entry
Participants can send multiple entries. However, please submit a separate submission form.
Films sent as entries will be added to the Animday Awards archives.
Once the entry is shortlisted for festival screening/competition entry, we will ask you to send us as soon as possible the PUBLICITY MATERIAL, if required.
Once submitted, the films will not be permitted to be withdrawn from participation at Animday under any circumstances. DVDs and other materials submitted will not be returned.
By submitting Animation films, Ad Films, Games, Live Films, Photography, Mobile Apps etc to Animday, filmmaker/ producer / professional takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.
Notification of selected entries for the Animday will be announced on official Website, Animday Awards Facebook Page. However, the festival committee reserves the right to change the dates, accept or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Filmmakers/delegates of short listed films will be invited to attend the festival. However, the festival will not arrange or reimburse for Travel / Stay Expenses of the participants attending the festival.
Festival Organizers, programmers and jury panel shall determine selections and award winners at their sole discretion. Decision of the Animday festival authorities regarding all matters not expressly provided for in these rules and regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and cannot be challenged.
Shipping and Insurance : All costs relative to the shipment of the film, publicity, promotional and photographic material to and from the Animday Awards will be at the expense of the participants.
Participants/Production Companies may contact Animday for the promotion of the film, their brands/Logo during the festival.

SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRIES:

Film Entry Form
Synopsis of the movie (max 150 words).
Crew & Cast List including technical team.
Biography & Filmography of Film director.
1 Photograph of Director.
Stills of film in JPEG format (min 1,max 3 photos, 300 dpi, preferably 600 x 900 pixel size OR any size up to 1200 maximum pixels)
1 Poster of film in JPEG format (300 dpi, preferably 600 x 900 pixel size or any size up to 1200 maximum pixels )
Your film/video trailer's link preferably not more than 1 minute in duration (Optional for promotion & publicity purpose)

Step 1- Upload the film on any online platform (e.g. youtube,vimeo etc),protect it with password,if you want. You will be required to mention the URL of this upload in the form.
Step 2- Please go to "submit film now" tab, select online submission, fill up "Online Film Entry Form" and submit. It will take you to the next steps on the screen.
Step 3- Email us the "FILM PRESS KIT".
Terms & Conditions
1. To enter a competition you must be: (a) 18 years old or more at the time of entry.
Both National & International Entries Accepted.
2. A participant can submit multiple entries

4. You will get confirmation e-mail, after submitting entries fees.
5. Animday Awards Reserves the right to reject any entry, at its sole discretion, without assigning any reason.
6. The closing date is as specified in each competition, and Animday Awards reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
7. If you win a competition, we will notify you by post and e-mail. The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence or discussion regarding the decision will be entertained. By participating in the competition, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Animday Awards and the judging panel. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.
8. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity as Animday Awards may require.
9. No submissions will be considered if they are defamatory, abusive, obscene, profane or otherwise offensive or in poor taste. Anyone who participates in the competition in a disrespectful or unlawful manner, including making hostile or negative depiction related to age, disability, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity, will be disqualified.
10. By submitting your work to this competition, you are representing and agreeing as follows: (your submission is your own original work and, at the time of your submission, you have all ownership rights in the submission;
11. All entries will become the property of Animday Awards, Animday Awards reserves the right to reproduce the pictures in any form it deems appropriate for promotion and publicity purposes.
12. Any questions, disputes or disagreement related to the terms, conditions or participation in this competition shall be resolved by the Animday Awards in its absolute discretion.
13. The prize will not be transferable to another person.
14. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

16. All personal details submitted must be accurate and complete and are subject to proof upon request by Animday Awards. Animday Awards reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entry not submitted in accordance with these Terms or which tampers with the entry process.
17. Winners will be required to give us high resolution images.
