Allen Brooks is a Missouri-born musician and filmmaker whose career bridges decades of American rock, country, and storytelling. A U.S. Navy veteran, Brooks began touring nationally after his service, performing with numerous bands including Fiancé, Roxx Gang, Mojo Gurus, The Blessed Virgin Larry and Satisfaction (Rolling Stones Tribute). He has shared stages with icons like Steppenwolf, Lou Gramm, Jackyl, George Lynch, Dr. Hook, Black Oak Arkansas, Molly Hatchet, and The Kentucky Headhunters, building a reputation as a powerful live performer and songwriter.
Under the creative identity B.A. Brooks, Allen has become a visionary in digital film making. He was a pioneer in using online media to construct documentaries, including 'The Decline And Fall Of America' (2008). His work also includes a music video for Warner Brothers and a recent series of award-winning, AI-enhanced visual projects that have been gaining international festival recognition.
Allen is a New York Film Academy (NYFA) graduate (2010) and an independent artist who writes and composes his own music. His creative work blends traditional musicianship with modern visual storytelling.
From 2020 to 2023, Brooks wrote all the lyrics and music that was recorded and released from the Christian music group 'A Circle Of Faith' (ACOF).
Recent audio/video releases include Comin' Home, Wars Waged By Man, Jackalope Jack, Mirrors In My Mind, People Can Change, Tragically Twisted, Raymond Redd and Caviar and Cigarettes, as well as remakes like Blue Moanin’ by BTO and his tribute to Ozzy Osbourne titled Changes by Black Sabbath. His upcoming projects include a new take on Bowie’s Heroes. At 63, Brooks remains as driven as ever: “The fire’s still burning and I’m not slowing down anytime soon.”
When producing music videos, Allen sometimes incorporates artificial intelligence as a filmmaking tool, similar to editing software, cameras, or visual effects technology. These videos are not generated with a single click, they are carefully directed and refined over weeks or months of creative work.
Beyond the arts, Allen is a dedicated humanitarian who earned a diploma in Veterinary Assisting (2015) and helped save over 1,000 dogs in rural Missouri (2015-2019). Today, he champions the 'Human Music Movement,' advocating for transparency and AI labeling in the arts. While Allen utilizes AI as another visual tool for cinematography, his music remains human-made, with 'Jackalope Jack' being his only limited experiment with this new technology.
