I'm Killing You

Check out my new 2D animated music video for “I’m Killing You (Unplugged)”, a dark love song reimagined as an epic superhero story where music becomes the ultimate weapon against total and complete chaos. Featuring Florida guitarist Keith Maples, the 2D-animated film transforms Brooks and Maples into larger-than-life rock and roll warriors defending a city under siege by monstrous forces. With electrifying visuals and emotionally charged performances, the duo use their instruments not just to perform but to fight back, proving that creativity and sound can conquer even the darkest evil.

Director Statement

I wanted to make something that kinda felt like the old KISS comic books from the 1970’s so I decided to bring the comic book idea to life using 2D animation! This music video is a mix of fantasy, emotion, and raw rock and roll energy. I graduated from The New York Film Academy (NYFA) in 2010 and used that knowledge and everything I have learned since to create my music videos. I am very grateful and thankful to everyone who has helped me along my journey. Much Love! - Allen Brooks
