French with Greek origins, I came to live in London 6 years ago to start my first job in investment banking, before embarking on an artistic career.
I believe stories, like movies, can profoundly affect how we perceive, connect and engage with the world.
The idea of ‘END OF DAY' came to me after I came across the article: 'How Modern Life Became Disconnected from Nature' by researchers Pelin and Selin Kesebir.
The total disconnection from nature was one of the things I felt most intensely after a few months in the busy heart of London financial district - even though I grew up in an urban environment.
I felt a call to action when they concluded: "It’s worth remembering that cultural products such as songs and films not only reflect the prevailing culture - they also shape it. [...] Artistic creations that help us connect with nature are crucial at a time like this when nature seems to need our attention and care more than ever".
