Director Statement

From Alexia:
I wrote END OF DAY to explore a subject that felt urgent to me after my experience in the banking world. The idea came from reading "How Modern Life Became Disconnected from Nature" by researchers Pelin and Selin Kesebir.
During my time in London's financial district, I felt that disconnection intensely: the absence of anything natural or alive in the constant rush of the corporate world.
I wanted to explore the impact of our work environment on our mental and physical health.

From Charlotte:
Collaborating on END OF DAY, I focused on creating striking visual contrasts between the sterile corporate realm and the presence of nature. Through Amber's journey, we explore how unchecked ambition takes its toll, and how reconnection with nature can help us reclaim our humanity in a world consumed by deadlines and artificial environments.
