Rules & Terms

1. Eligibility
The festival accepts films of any genre and length that use Artificial Intelligence in any part of their creative process (scriptwriting, image generation, sound design, editing, etc.) or address AI as a theme or subject.
Works completed after January 1, 2024 are eligible.
Submissions from all countries and in all languages are welcome; non-English films must include English subtitles.
2. Categories
AI-Generated Films – works created fully or partially with AI tools.
Films About AI – documentaries or narratives exploring artificial intelligence thematically.
Experimental & Hybrid Works – cross-media, interactive, or installation-based projects involving AI.
3. Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be made through the official festival platform (FilmFreeway).
Each entry must include a screening link, synopsis, credits, and at least one promotional still.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
The submitter must hold all necessary rights to the film’s content, including music, visuals, and AI-generated materials.
4. Selection & Screening
The selection committee will evaluate all submissions based on artistic quality, innovation, and relevance to the festival’s theme.
Selected films will be notified via email and announced on the festival website and social media.
5. Awards
Awards may be given for Best AI Film, Best Mixed AI Film and Jury Special Mention.
The jury’s decisions are final and non-negotiable.
6.Category Viability & Cancellation Clause
The Festival reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, merge, or cancel any award category if the number, quality, or suitability of submitted films does not meet the minimum threshold required to ensure a competitive and meaningful evaluation process.
7. Rights & Permissions
By submitting, the filmmaker grants the festival the right to screen the film during the event and to use excerpts, images, and text for promotional purposes.
The filmmaker retains full ownership and copyright of their work.
8. General Conditions
The festival reserves the right to make program changes or cancel screenings if necessary.
Participation in the festival implies acceptance of all rules and terms listed above.
