Yvonne Padmos is a Dutch screenwriter, playwright, songwriter, and actress. She began writing poetry twenty years ago and has never stopped creating. Many of her books have been transformed into films and theatrical productions.
With a portfolio of more than 50 film scripts, theater plays, and musical works, Yvonne creates entirely on her own terms. Her focus has always been on the pure act of creation rather than the pursuit of fame. Having survived multiple near-death experiences and comas, she now lives and creates fully in the present moment.
She has zero patience for social media noise, marketing, or small talk, and often jokingly calls herself “The Lazy Writer” — a humorous contrast to her vast creative output.
For Yvonne, the passion to create is the greatest miracle; whether the work is judged as “the best” is irrelevant, as the process itself is the true reward.Yvonne consciously stays away from social platforms, preferring the depth of her work over the noise of promotion.
Her original music and voice can be found on Vevo, her YouTube Official Artist Channel, and international radio.

The 50-Script Challenge Born from Trauma: To combat severe depression stemming from CPTSD—exacerbated by a lifetime of abuse and multiple near-death experiences (NDEs), including a 2019 car accident where she was trapped unconscious for over 12 hours—Padmos set herself the ambitious goal of writing 50 original film scripts before turning 50. This therapeutic endeavor, completed in just a few years, transformed her pain into productivity.
From Books to Screenplays: A Post-Accident Pivot: Padmos's shift to screenwriting in 2020 was directly inspired by her 2019 NDE coma, which left her with chronic pain and PTSD. Initially planning a book about her experiences, she realized visual storytelling via screenplays would better capture the "dissolving boundaries" she felt during the event, leading to her first scripts infused with themes of resilience and unseen realities.
Philosophical Roots in Tesla's World: Over 12 years of studying Nikola Tesla's ideas on energy and illusion influenced Padmos's debut philosophy book under her real name, The Illusion of Gravity: A Philosophical Inquiry into the Nature of Reality (2024, ISBN 978-1-326-96775-8). Written amid CPTSD recovery, it uses her NDEs to argue gravity as a perceptual illusion, blending personal trauma healing with scientific speculation.
Undercover Insights Fuel Underrated Gems: Drawing from two decades as an undercover actress and journalist, Padmos penned The Power of Acting (in production), a comedy-drama screenplay that weaves her real-world investigative experiences into a narrative about authenticity. Her CPTSD research on human behavior, like the Asch conformity experiments, adds psychological depth, making it a subtle nod to trauma's role in performance.
Healing Through Satire: ASMR Meets Fame: One of her standout screenplays, ASMR Youtuber Millionaire, satirizes digital fame and self-discovery—echoing Padmos's own use of ASMR techniques for CPTSD management during depressive episodes. Listed on IMDb, this script emerged from her experiments with hypnosis and spoken-word therapy to process trauma triggers.
Intuition as Medicine in Doctors with Third Eye Open: This thriller screenplay explores ethical dilemmas in medicine through intuitive "third eye" healers, inspired by Padmos's academic studies on mental health and trauma healing. Her CPTSD journey, including ocean rescues and epileptic episodes, informed the protagonist's arc, turning personal vulnerability into a commentary on overlooked healing modalities.
Pseudonyms as Trauma Shields: For over 20 years, Padmos wrote philosophy books, poetry, and theater scripts under various pseudonyms to cope with CPTSD-related self-doubt and societal judgment. It wasn't until her 2024 book release—post her 40th birthday milestone—that she claimed her real name publicly, marking a healing breakthrough in owning her voice as a screenwriter and author.
Auctioning Scripts for Empowerment: Padmos revolutionized script sales by auctioning her 50+ screenplays (including Lockdown Trap, a pandemic isolation drama reflecting her CPTSD isolation) as NFTs on her platform. This innovative, trauma-informed business model—born from financial instability during recovery—not only monetizes her work but also invites collaborative healing through storytelling.
Life is a stage, play the role
You’ve probably never heard of me because I’m the laziest writer-actress you’ll never meet at a fancy gala. I’m too busy scribbling nonstop or playing the ultimate undercover actress—seriously, I’m so undercover, I’m practically invisible! Success? Pfft, society’s measuring stick thinks I’m a no-show. That’s why I write about Asch conformity, dodging the spotlight while philosophizing anonymously. But then—boom!—I flipped my playwright pen to screenplays, and suddenly it’s, ‘Hey, Yvonne Padmos, that’s my name!’ Not for fame, mind you—just to tell my real-life stories, tears and all. Now I’m ready to write the final script, kick back, and watch someone else cry my pages on the silver screen. Cue my lazy cackle! 😂😂😂

Yvonne Padmos has crafted more than 50 filmscripts. While people might be searching for the films themselves, STOP – filmscripts are just the written word. Film making is a whole different ball game 🎬. Yvonne Padmos is a writer 📚 – of books, playwrights, and screenplays. She's not a film maker … unless we're talking amateur production 😂. But for real productions, we'll be taking it step by step, huge thanks to the professionals who are the actual film makers 😂. Onwards to production!
