UK Web Series Festival is the first regional touring web festival in the UK.

We are back for our 6th edition in 2020. First with a belated special 5th anniversary celebration in March 2020 and the launch of 'Webfliks' app a collaboration project we have been involved with by special invite only. The winners of 2019 will be awarded their awards and the curation of 2019 will be screened.

The yearly festival will be on Saturday 18th October 2020 (1 Day)

If you are a student you can submit at discounted rates. Check the student drop down menu to see special submission rates.

10% of fees will be awarded to one school each year in the UK to assist with new equipment which may be needed for their film department.

We have partnered up with http://webfliks.tv/ a new streaming app and website for web series only- submit via the drop down category on the bottom right of this page. There is no guarantee that all web series will be housed on Webfliks. If selected your series will be available to view via the app only. From 2019 all selected Webfliks episode 'trailers will be screened on our festival day.

The UK Web Fest Award Ceremony is a 'Smart' event which will be held on the evening of Sunday 18th October 2020.

There will awards such as: Best Director, Best Production, Best UK Web Series, Best International Web Series, Best Animation, Best Documentary, The One to Watch Award. You will receive one of our beautifully hand crafted and engraved glass 'UK Web Fest' Gongs.

The Industry Panel Award is a cash prize of £500.00 awarded on a discretionary prize for outstanding over all film making. We would like you to NOTE this prize is genuine and will always be received whether it’s paid out in 1 week, 3 months or 6 months. All our past winners have received this prize. We also urge you NOT to apply to our festival because of this prize only, we offer an amazing day in prestigious surroundings, filled by talented artists and networking. It is always such an inspiring day.

The Winners and 10 official selected web series will have the opportunity to show their content on 'WebFliks' a new streaming app and website for web series only who we have partnered up.

The Jury panel will award the winners from the nominees.

The screening slot for each Web Series is 1-10minutes. You may submit episodes with a total running time of no more than 10 minutes . A minimum of 2 episodes should be submitted for judging consideration. If you submit only ONE episode we wont be able to consider your work to judge.

Pilots - A max of 1-30mins.

Music Videos should be between 1-5Mins long.

Short films are NOT accepted, only serialized content for the web.

Please allow a DOWNLOADBLE link via FilmFreeway when you submit.

Those selected may also be asked to provide a high resolution copy of the screening episode(s) either uncompressed or H.264 1080p. Once you have been notified of official selection you have three weeks to send all necessary files.

If you do not meet that deadline to send the final films, it is possible we will not be able to screen your content. Submissions are the responsibility of the person submitting.

Digital copies accepted.

No submissions may be withdrawn from the festival programme after its selection.

Submission fee is non refundable.

    We were very honored to receive "The Industry Panel Award".
    (Oh, and we are from Norway - not Sweden)
    It was very unfortunate that none of the filmmakers were able to attend, but my dear friends attended and received it for us. They told me they had a great time, the networking was fantastic, and all in all they were treated really well the whole time.
    We wish the festival the best of luck with the 2nd edition, and give you our full support!
