ABOUT THE MOTORCYCLE FILM FESTIVAL
The TMFF Motorcycle Film Festival has been celebrating the intersection of motorcycles, film, and the arts since 2017. Recognized worldwide, TMFF brings together the best motorcycle films and the spirit of freedom and adventure from around the world, sharing universal stories told through the lens of motorcycling.

TMFF 2026
The 10-year anniversary edition of TMFF will take place October 2–3 at the Paradise Theatre in Toronto and will include a filmmaker reception and pre-party. After the festival, the TMFF Tour brings a taste of the TMFF to audiences across Canada including screenings of select films in Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg, Picton, and new for 2026, Halifax.

GOING BEYOND
TMFF initiatives also include opportunities to meet other filmmakers, have fun at the festival parties, and participate in our TMFF Talks series of one-on-one Q&As and panel discussions. Beyond films, we've curated and hosted gallery exhibitions that combined high-end custom bikes and art from internationally renowned contemporary artists, and participate in the Canada-wide National Canadian Film Day.

TMFF screens documentary and narrative films, animation, experimental, and VR experiences. The TMFF festival also includes Q&As with attending filmmakers, jury and audience awards, reception parties, and exhibitions. The festival is open to submissions from any country. TMFF is an IMDB-certified festival.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We strive to set the standard for excellence in film programming. Films are selected on the basis of quality and originality. By submitting your film, we will watch it fully and give it a fair chance for inclusion in the Festival and Tour. If your film is selected, here’s what you can expect from us:

• AN APPRECIATIVE AUDIENCE: TMFF events have frequently sold out and the theatre and parties were packed shoulder to shoulder.
• EXTENSIVE PROMOTION of your film on our website, subscriber email newsletters, social media channels, and to our media PR contacts. While this campaign is focused on the months leading up to the Festival, films also benefit from our year-round coverage via our social media and e-newsletters. In the past, we've received press coverage in over 30 mainstream and new media sources including The Star, CBC, REV TV, all Canadian motorcycle publications coast to coast, select magazines in the USA and Europe, online blogs, and more.
• OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT: Filmmakers are encouraged to attend the Festival in person. If you join us, you'll feel the love from our audience even more as you engage with them in an on-stage Q&A and at our parties. You will be treated like a rockstar. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with the other attending filmmakers and members of the media.
• ACCESS to all TMFF film screenings, networking and social events.
• REACH BEYOND TMFF: We've developed long-term relationships with all of our filmmakers and have helped connect them with other festivals and opportunities around the world.
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION between you and Festival that's handled with care and respect.
• A BIG SCREEN: We will present your film in the best way possible, screening it in a proper theatre, on a big screen, with best-in-class video and audio capabilities.

Caius and his team did an amazing job putting on this festival. From start to finish, it was clear how much thought and care went into every detail. The film lineup was outstanding diverse, engaging, and beautifully curated and each screening felt like a true celebration of storytelling.

Beyond the films themselves, the overall experience was so well executed. The marketing and media exposure were thorough and creative, drawing great attention to the festival and giving the filmmakers the spotlight they deserve. The sense of community it fostered was equally impressive, bringing together filmmakers, audiences, and supporters in a way that felt both inspiring and memorable.
Huge credit to Caius and the entire team for pulling it off so successfully and including my film Slowly Going Faster.

TMFF is a blast. And the local community obviously really supports and looks forward to this festival. I was impressed with the amount of promotion and festival buzz the TMFF team produced. There was a great turnout for all the screening sections, and a full house for the kickoff party held at a cool local Moto shop where audience members and filmmakers could connect and share stories. I also loved the variety of films included in the line up - big adventure films, to bio-pics, to thoughtful personal stories. So many thanks to the festival director, Caius, for all the filmmaker specific gatherings and the welcoming hospitality!! And for screening so many films by and about women, including our feature film “Women in the Front Seat.” Hope to come back again!
