ABOUT US
Welcome to F.R.E.E. Film Night, an international indie film festival based in the creative heart of Brooklyn. We are a platform for bold, authentic, and innovative storytelling, showcasing a diverse range of cinematic forms, including short narratives, documentaries, experimental films, animation, and medium-length features.
Our mission is to amplify underrepresented voices with a particular focus on Black filmmakers and global storytellers, bringing together artists and audiences to share work that challenges, entertains, and inspires.
What sets Film Night apart is our dedication to medium-length films, a format often overlooked in traditional festival spaces. By creating room for unconventional runtime and unconventional stories, we celebrate the freedom and flexibility of independent film making.
OUR COMMUNITY
More than just screenings, Film Night is a hub for creative exchange. With a DIY spirit and a strong sense of community, we foster spaces where filmmakers, artists, and cinephiles can connect, collaborate, and grow. Whether you’re an emerging filmmaker or an established creator, our festival is designed to spotlight your vision and connect you with a vibrant, global network.
