List of application and entry requirements :

0 - The two categories in competition are SHORT FILMS and MUSIC VIDEOS. Live-action and animation are welcomes. DOCUMENTARIES are screened out of competition
1 - For the films in competition, the awards are : BEST FILM (CHF 500) or BEST MUSIC VIDEO (CHF 500), with the additional AUDIENCE AWARDS and potential SPECIAL MENTIONS
2 - As the festival celebrates together music and film, submitted short films MUST have a strong and specific link to music, either in the theme, characters, choice or use of music and sounds in the film in order to be considered for the official selection. This will be the primary criteria of selection by our jury, along side the overall quality of the artistic work.
3 - The competition is open to short films and music videos produced since 2021 until the present day. Works produced before this date will not be considered.
4 - Works from all over the world are admitted, including in foreign languages, provided that they include french or english subtitles. No subtitles needed for music videos.
5 - At the time of registration, authors must be at least 18 years old and in possession of all the rights to economic and visual use of their work including the rights to any image, logo, name and music included in the work. If these rights are held by a third party, the participant guarantees to have explicit authorization to use the work submitted.
6 - By submitting his work, the participant declares that the work is original and does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party. The participant releases TFFL and its organizers from any type of responsability regarding any damage caused to a third party, legal claims of any type, directly or indirectly connected to the contents of any right related to the submitted work.
7 - Authors must provide a digital copy of their work to the Festival or upload it on YouTube or Vimeo in order to allow the screening and evaluation by the jury.
8 - By entering the contest, the entrants grant TFFL the right to use their work and communication material (logo, posters, clips, still images, sound) for the purpose of press, media or promotion in preparation and during the event.
9 - The jury's decision is final and non-disputable.
10 - TFFL reserves the right to decline submissions for any of the following reasons, notably : failing to meet the competition requirements; violation of any existing law, promotion of racial and cultural hatred or human rights violation.
11 - All registration fees are non-refundable. The fees will benefit the creation and quality of the festival.
12 - The organization will communicate with the participants via email and/or social media.
13 - By filling in this form, you agree on the use of your works for display, and the use of parts thereof, images and written outreach materials, in order to promote the festival and the creators.
14 - Any litigation related to the festival will be subjet to Swiss Law and Courts in Lausanne exclusively.
15 - If selected, you MUST provide a FRENCH .srt file to add to an original master that has no subs.

0 - Les deux catégories en compétition sont COURTS-METRAGES et CLIPS MUSICAUX. Les formats live-action et animation sont acceptés. Les DOCUMENTAIRES sont projetés hors compétition.
1 - Les films en compétition se disputent les prix suivants : MEILLEUR COURT (CHF 500), MEILLEUR CLIP (CHF 500),, en plus du PRIX DU PUBLIC et d'une potentielle MENTION SPECIALE du jury.
2 - Le festival célébrant la musique et le cinéma, les courts-métrages soumis doivent impérativement avoir un lien spécifique avec la musique, que ce soit dans le sujet, dans le traitement des personnages, le choix ou l’utilisation de musique et de sons, afin d’être pris en compte pour la sélection officielle. C’est ce point qui constituera le premier critère de sélection de notre jury, en plus de la qualité globale du travail artistique.
3 - La compétition est ouverte aux courts métrages et clips musicaux produits depuis 2022 à ce jour. Les travaux produits avant cette date ne seront pas considérés.
4 - Les travaux venant du monde entier sont admis, y compris ceux en langue étrangère, à condition qu’ils comprennent des sous-titres en français. Sous-titres non-requis pour les clips musicaux.
5 - Les participants doivent avoir au moins 18 ans au moment de l’inscription, et être en possession de tous les droits économiques ou visuels liés à leur travail, incluant les droits sur les images, logos, noms ou musiques figurants dans leur travail. Si ces droits sont détenus par une tierce personne, le participant garantit avoir une autorisation explicite pour l’exploitation du travail soumis.
6 - En soumettant son film, le participant déclare qu'il s'agit d'une œuvre originale et qu’elle n’enfreint en aucun cas les droits d’une tierce personne. Les participants délivrent le TFFL et ses organisateurs de toute responsabilité en cas de dommage causé à une tierce personne ou de revendications légales en tout genre, qu’elles soient liées directement ou indirectement au travail soumis.
7 - Les auteurs doivent fournir une copie digitale de leur film au Festival ou le publier sur Youtube ou Vimeo, afin de permettre son évaluation par le jury.
8 - Dès leur inscription, les auteurs accordent au TFFL les pleins droits d’utiliser leur travail et leur matériel de communication (logo, poster, extraits, images, sons) à des fins journalistiques ou promotionnelles durant la préparation et au cours de l’événement.
9 - La remise de prix aura lieu durant la soirée de clôture du Festival. La décision du jury est définitive.
10 - Le TFFL se réserve le droit de ne pas considérer des candidatures, notamment, pour les raisons suivantes : incapacité à remplir les conditions d’inscription ; violation d’une loi en vigueur ; incitation à la haine, à la discrimination ou à la violation des droits humains.
11 - Tous les frais d’enregistrement sont non-remboursables. Les frais participent à la création et qualité du festival.
12 - L’organisation communiquera avec les participants par e-mail et/ou sur les réseaux sociaux.
13 - En remplissant ce formulaire, vous acceptez l’utilisation de votre travail pour la projection et l’utilisation d'extraits de celui-ci, images ou mentions écrites, afin de promouvoir le festival et son programme.
14 - Tout litige relatif au festival sera soumis exclusivement au droit suisse et aux tribunaux de Lausanne.
