Diverse cultural and center of the world; films are the highest point of the culture. Our mission is to promote films, and be another step up in the filmmakers’ careers.

Toronto Film Awards has an international team of film actors,directors, directors of photography and producers that got together to create a space that celebrates FILMS and FILMMAKERS. TFA (Toronto Film Awards) Festival is a Toronto based festival & physical screenings.

TFA Film Festival truly cares about the language of cinema, independent filmmaking, filmmakers, arts and all the artists involved in each film project.

We are an organization committed to selecting, awarding, promoting, featuring and screening international and Canadian films.

Awards & Prizes

Rules & Terms

- Films can be from anywhere in the world since the festival is an international competition.
- The festival has the right to use a trailer, stills and a poster from the films for promotional purposes.

We accept:

- We accept films of all genres
- Short and feature films, in the form of narrative (fiction), documentary (non fiction), experimental or animated film.
- Web/TV Series (also pilot)
- Music Videos

By submitting your film, take note that:

- You agree to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster/stills) for promotional purpose.
- Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories.
- The films must include English subtitles (unless the spoken language is English)
- Films made in languages other than English must have English subtitles otherwise they will be summarily rejected.
- The TFA reserves the right to refuse entries.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
