Welcome to STUFFit Student Film Festival, a cinematic celebration by and for student filmmakers worldwide.

Our platform offers an opportunity for high school students to showcase their talent and creativity. Founded and organised by high school students themselves, we aim to provide an inclusive and rewarding experience for participants.

STUFFit not only celebrates the final product, but also the journey of filmmaking, fostering creativity, teamwork, and leadership among participants. By welcoming entries from around the world, we promote diversity and global collaboration within the teenage filmmaking community.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, winners and runners-up in each category are recognised and rewarded for their creative efforts through digital gift cards, allowing for a sense of independence and autonomy in choosing a well-deserved prize.

Films must be in English or have subtitles, and international participants are encouraged to submit their entries in our International Categories.

Awards & Prizes

STUFFit gives cash prizes to give students flexibility. Winners can use the money to purchase equipment, undertake a development course or other opportunities to advance their film making skills.

Rules & Terms

I authorise the STUFFit Student Film Festival 25Crew to screen, market, and upload my submitted film to their social media platforms.

I acknowledge that STUFFit holds screening rights for the event and marketing, and finalist films will be screened at the STUFFit Student Film Festival screening event. All other film rights remain with the submitting students.

I confirm that I own or have permission for all audio and video content used. If any copyrighted material is included, I will provide adequate reference and acknowledgement to the copyright holders and state "Copyright materials used for educational purposes only" in the closing credits. Winner or runner-up films including copyrighted materials may not be uploaded to our YouTube channel or screened at our Awards event.

If copyrighted material is used in your film, it may not meet our submission criteria and will not be able to be screened live.

I confirm that all major roles in the film are held by current high school students (ages 12-18), except for on-screen adults in documentaries. This includes actors and all key positions held in the creation and production of the film.

ENTRY CONDITIONS:
* You must submit your Student ID with your entry
* If you are under 18, you require parent/guardian consent to submit
* If you wish to enter your film in multiple categories, multiple submissions are required
* Only films made within the last 12 months are eligible.

The STUFFit 25Crew reserves the right to disqualify any film if if we deem it to not meet the criteria. All decisions are final. Entry fees may be refunded where appropriate.
