The Staten Island Summer of Shorts International Film Festival was established in 2022 by actor/filmmaker Vinnie Langdon III to showcase 10 Short Films from both NYC and around the globe.

The 2025 Staten Island Summer of Shorts will be held at the Parish House (2205 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NYC 10306.)

The festival was previously held annually during the summer at the historic Reformed Church’s Oscar Teale Sunday School Events Building - where television shows like HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Hulu’s Wu Tang: American Saga were used as television and movie sets.

The venue holds 200 and has sold out every year since the start of the festival. The festival features a red carpet entry-way filled with local media and press opportunities, a filmmakers Q&A Session and Awards ceremony all in one-night.

Come join us on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 6:00pm for our fourth annual film festival.

This film festival is a fundraiser for Historic Port Richmond Preservation Association, a 501c3 non-profit. All money from submissions and tickets go directly to the non-profit.
