Sicilymovie - Festival del Cinema di Agrigento

The validity of the registration is considered void if the festival management does not receive the payment, the participation card or the data relating to the work presented. The management and staff of Sicilymovie declines any responsibility due to the reproduction of shorts containing material covered by copyright, for which the situation with the SIAE has not been regularized.

A technical jury composed of journalists, professionals of the audio-visual sector will express their preference for the winner of each category present. The jury also reserves the right to award any special or ex-aequo prizes.

Films with foreign language text must have subtitles in Italian or English, with the exception of the videoclip category, Around Italy and Best Poster.

In the email containing the participation form it is preferable to insert a poster or some representative photos of the work for free use in the promotion of the Festival.

Each author, by signing the release present in the participation form, will give consent to the use of some images of their works for the promotion of the Festival on social networks. The films will become part of the archive of the Sicilymovie – Festival del cinema di Agrigento. However, the staff of Sicilymovie undertakes to use it for exclusively cultural purposes, and in no case commercial, within initiatives aimed at promoting the Festival.

FINALIST

The selected finalists will be contacted by the Festival management by telephone, via email or through the Festival's digital platforms.

The works and names of the selected authors will also be communicated on the Official Pages of the social networks and on the website www.sicilymovie.it. The winners or their representatives will receive the Golden Demetra only if present at the Festival from 19 to 20 November at Spazio Temenos in Agrigento.
The dates and official location may be subject to change, all finalists will be notified in time.
After the deadline for the announcement, details will be provided for the hospitality of the finalists at the Festival. The management will carefully follow the organization of travel for the participating finalists and will give those who decide to attend the opportunity to obtain exclusive discounts for hotels, bnb and restaurants.
Not all works will be screened during the 2 days of the Festival, the management reserves the right to decide which will be screened. During the duration of the Festival, the artist will have the opportunity to present his work with a special interview before the public screening during the evenings. This presentation will then be published on our channels.
The management of Sicilymovie – Agrigento Film Festival also offers, as an extra service, the possibility of presenting your work through an exclusive online interview which will be recorded and published on the social channels of Southmovie and Sicilymovie and on the website www.sicilymovie.it . The cost of the service is 50.00 euro for each interview and the maximum duration is 10 minutes and can also be received as a single file.

By registering your work and automatically accepting the regulations, all responsibility falls on the author\director\producer.

Registration and participation in the Festival imply complete acceptance of these regulations and the registration form. For any exception not covered by this regulation, the management reserves the right to make final decisions.

Possono essere presentate un massimo di 5 opere per ogni autore.
Le opere dovranno essere presentate per la Pre-selezione attraverso le piattaforme specifiche: FilmFreeway, Festhome, Clickforfestival, il sito www.sicilymovie.it oppure inviando un’email con tutti i dati della scheda tecnica a info@sicilymovie.it . Per la categoria “Poster” è possibile inviare un file JPG in alta risoluzione a info@sicilymovie.it o iscrivere la propria opera sulle piattaforme citate e verrà valutato solamente il Poster del film.

Utilizzando l’email si potrà inviare un link privato o pubblico di Youtube o Vimeo da poter scaricare o inviare il file tramite Wetransfer o qualunque ftp con la qualità dell’opera in fullHD o 4K.

La validità dell’iscrizione viene ritenuta nulla se la direzione del festival non riceve il pagamento, la Scheda di partecipazione o i dati relativi all’opera presentata. La direzione e lo staff del Sicilymovie declina ogni responsabilità dovuta alla riproduzione di corti contenenti materiale coperto da diritto d’autore, per il quale non sia stata regolarizzata la situazione con la SIAE.

Una giuria tecnica composta da giornalisti e professionisti del settore audio-visivo esprimerà la propria preferenza per il vincitore di ogni categoria presente. La giuria si riserva altresì di assegnare eventuali premi speciali o ex-aequo.

I filmati con testo in lingua straniera dovranno predisporre i sottotitoli in italiano o inglese, ad eccezione della categoria Videoclip, Around Italy e Poster.

Nell’email contenente la Scheda di Partecipazione è preferibile inserire una locandina\poster o qualche foto rappresentativa dell’opera per utilizzo gratuito nella promozione del Festival.

Ogni autore, firmando la liberatoria presente nella Scheda di Partecipazione, darà il consenso all’uso di alcune immagini delle proprie opere per la promozione del Festival sui social network. I filmati entreranno a far parte dell’archivio del Sicilymovie – Festival del Cinema di Agrigento. Ad ogni modo lo staff del Sicilymovie si impegna a farne uso per scopi esclusivamente culturali, e in nessun caso commerciali, all’interno di iniziative volte alla promozione del Festival.

FINALISTI

I finalisti selezionati verranno contattati dalla direzione del Festival telefonicamente, via email o attraverso le piattaforme digitali dei Festival.

Le opere ed i nomi degli autori selezionati verranno inoltre comunicati nelle Pagine Ufficiali dei social Network e sul sito www.sicilymovie.it . I vincitori o i loro rappresentanti riceveranno la Demetra D’Oro solamente se presenti al Festival il 19 e 20 Novembre presso lo Spazio Temenos di Agrigento.
Le date e la location ufficiale potranno subire delle variazioni, tutti i finalisti verranno avvisati per tempo.
Successivamente alla scadenza del bando verranno forniti i dettagli per l’ospitalità dei finalisti al Festival. La direzione seguirà con attenzione l’organizzazione dei viaggi per i finalisti partecipanti e darà l’opportunità a chi decide di presenziare di ottenere degli sconti esclusivi per alberghi, bnb e ristoranti.
Non tutte le opere verranno proiettate durante i 4 giorni del Festival, la direzione si riserva il diritto di decidere quali verranno proiettate. Durante la durata del Festival, l’artista avrà la possibilità di presentare la propria opera con un’intervista speciale prima della proiezione in pubblico durante le serate. Tale presentazione verrà poi pubblicata sui nostri canali.
La direzione del Sicilymovie – Festival del Cinema di Agrigento offre, inoltre, come servizio extra la possibilità di presentare la propria opera attraverso un’intervista esclusiva online che verrà registrata e pubblicata sui canali social di Southmovie e Sicilymovie e sul sito www.sicilymovie.it . Il costo del servizio è di 50,00 euro per ogni intervista e la durata massima è di 10 minuti e può anche essere ricevuta come singolo file.

Iscrivendo la propria opera ed accettando automaticamente il regolamento, ogni responsabilità cade sull’autore\regista\produttore.

L’iscrizione e la partecipazione al Festival implicano l’accettazione completa del presente regolamento e della scheda di iscrizione. Per ogni eccezione non rientrante nel presente regolamento, la direzione si riserva il diritto di assumere decisioni definitive.
