Sicani Cinema Experience

La partecipazione al Festival non è vincolata da restrizioni tematiche o di genere per i cortometraggi. La durata dei film non deve superare i 30 minuti. Tuttavia, in casi eccezionali, l'Organizzazione può prendere in considerazione l'ammissione di film più lunghi. Sono accettati tutti i formati digitali più comuni per garantire una proiezione ad alta definizione. Inoltre, ai materiali video tecnicamente non in grado di garantire una buona proiezione pubblica potrà essere rifiutata la partecipazione al concorso. Non ci sono restrizioni relative alla lingua del film, tuttavia è obbligatoria la presenza dei sottotitoli in inglese o in italiano. I titolari delle opere selezionate devono inviare i seguenti materiali all’indirizzo e-mail info@sicanicinemaexperience.com con oggetto: “Titolo del Film – Sicani Cinema Experience 2024”:

• Link Vimeo o altra piattaforma dove è possibile scaricare il cortometraggio;
• Trailer del cortometraggio (se disponibile);
• Tre foto di scena ufficiali.

Inviando i materiali (foto, trailer, ecc...) si autorizza il Sicani Cinema Experience all'utilizzo e alla condivisione. Il produttore e/o l'autore, nel caso in cui il cortometraggio venga selezionato per la fase finale del festival, deve dichiarare di essere l'unico responsabile di tutti i diritti relativi alla sua opera e deve dichiarare che il film non contiene diritti di terzi. Il Sicani Cinema Experience NON EFFETTUA IL PAGAMENTO DELLE SPESE DI PROIEZIONE. L’iscrizione del film al concorso implica l’accettazione che le relative proiezioni non verranno retribuite. La richiesta di partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione integrale delle condizioni esposte nel presente Regolamento. Con la partecipazione al concorso, l’autore autorizza il trattamento dei dati personali contenuti nelle opere e nel materiale complementare (legge 675/96) e ad utilizzare frammenti dei film selezionati, a fini promozionale e informativi.

Participation in the Festival is not subject to topic or genre restrictions for short films. The length of the films must not exceed 30 minutes. However, the Organisation may, in exceptional cases, consider the admission of longer films. All common digital formats are accepted to ensure high-definition screening. In addition, any video material that cannot technically guarantee a good public screening may be refused participation in the competition. There are no restrictions regarding the language of the film, however, English or Italian subtitles are mandatory. The owners of the selected films should send the following materials to the e-mail address info@sicanicinemaexperience.com with the object: "Title of the Film - Sicani Cinema Experience 2024":

• Vimeo link or other platform where the short film can be downloaded;
• Trailer of the short film (if available);
• Three official scene photos.

By submitting materials (photos, trailers, etc...) you authorize Sicani Cinema Experience to use and share them. Producers and/or author, if the short is selected for the final stage of the festival, must declare to be solely responsible for all rights regarding his work and must declare that the movie does not contain any third-party rights. The Sicani Cinema Experience WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR PROJECTION FEES. Entry of the film in the competition implies acceptance that the related screenings will not be paid for. Application to participate in the competition implies full acceptance of the conditions set forth in these Rules. By participating in the competition, the author authorizes the processing of personal data contained in the works and supplementary material (Law 675/96) and to use fragments of the selected films, for promotional and informational purposes.
