Always curious about we communicate emotion and information, I lost and found myself through teaching and exploring the universe.
I have always tried to understand effective ways to build bridges between people with others and complex theories of mind and nature. In my earlier work, I explored how to communicate complicated mental health perspectives with those that have not experienced them, examples include: 'Mental Health Transparency', 'Sea Side' and 'Harry Bot 9000'.
In my studies, I explored the realms of Physics (BSc) and classroom education (PGCE + NQT), both of which have been exceptional ways for me to explore the universe and how to communicate information. Teaching GCSE and A-Level (ages 11 to 19) has given me excellent perspective with the kinds of questions those growing up experience on a daily basis. I draw upon these questions through the core of my writing and communicate these complex questions in entertaining films with powerful morals.
On the side of filmmaking, I teach A-Level Physics. I find teaching younger generations inspirational for story ideas and what morals to explore in my film work.
Communication is the greatest tool in learning. Emotion is key to communication. Film fosters emotion. Use film to educate the world.
