Script Studio and the Rochester Association for Film Arts and Sciences, Inc. present a short script competition open to all residents of the United States.

Up to four submissions will be performed at a virtual Table Reading Event open to the public.

This is a great opportunity to hear your work and the scripts of other writers performed by dedicated actors!

The cost for each entry is $25 for early bird deadline, $35 for regular deadline. The first 25 entries get free written critiques/coverage of their work (a $35 value). Feedback is a valuable part of the writing process, and we’re excited to provide this service to help writers with their future work.

Proceeds go to Rochester Association for Film Arts and Sciences, Inc., a 501c3 not for profit educational corporation run entirely by volunteers.

Scriptitude was the finest celebration of screenplays I've had the pleasure of participating in. I was delighted to discover that one of the winners was a TV personality all the way from Texas.

I am grateful my script SUPERBUG was one of the three winners for 2020. They organized a table read, live online (on Zoom and broadcast to YouTube due to pandemic) which was thrilling to see.

The RAFAS staff is a group of seasoned professionals and it was a pleasure and an honor to be involved. So very glad I submitted my script. I also won Script Studio software (excellent!) and a $50 check (awesome). I highly recommend this script competition to all New York residents.
