  • One of my favorites festivals I've been to during the festival run for "Avem". The venue was great, the staff was welcoming, the quality of shorts was exceptional and the city of Salem is truly the perfect spot for a horror festival. Will submit again for sure!

GREAT group of people with a ton of heart and love for what they do. We were so glad to be able to screen our short film, HVAC, at the Salem Horror Fest. Fun events, responsive audiences, and the cute and strange town of Salem- who could ask for anything more?

Salem Horror Fest is an institution for a reason--everyone involved has a passion for genre and supports filmmakers on a fundamental level. We were so incredibly thrilled to be a part of this year's wonderful event and hope to attend in the future!

Salem Horror Fest was a wonderful experience. Although I wasn’t able to attend the screening of Meat Crayon in person this year, the festival team were fantastic communicators throughout the process and incredibly supportive of our film. It’s clear they genuinely care about horror filmmakers and the community they’re building. I’d absolutely submit to Salem again!!
