The Rogers Short Film Festival lets filmmakers compete against their peers in categories based on experience and budget. Screen your film to an enthusiastic audience at the dazzling Victory Theater and explore the entertainment district in historic downtown Rogers. It's a groovy, non-stop weekend filled with screenings, networking, food, music, and entertainment!

Rules & Terms

1. For your submission, you must own the rights to the film and its contents or have permission for their use by the owner(s) of those rights.
2. The Festival relationship will be with the entrant exclusively.
3. Any film that is not in English must have English subtitles.
4. All fees are non-refundable.
5. ROGERS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL will not be responsible for damaged copies.
6. Students must present a scan of a valid Student ID when submitting their film.
7. Not all submissions are selected for the official competition.
8. ROGERS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL can disqualify any film if the festival considers the content inappropriate or that it is in violation of Festival rules and terms.
9. The Category in which you enter your film can be changed at the discretion of ROGERS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL. You will be contacted in the event a change needs to be made.
10. A submission fee is required for all films.
11. By submitting your film, you authorize the ROGERS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and stills on social media, television, radio, podcasts, and other marketing and information platforms.
12. Minimum total run time is 1 minute. Maximum total running time is 40 minutes.
13. The submission of your film indicates your acceptance of the ROGERS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL Rules and Terms.

    Such a great festival! The films were fantastic, the venue was gorgeous, and the leadership of the festival was top notch. Barry and Lizzie have crafted a festival that other festivals should be jealous of. It truly was one of the best experiences at any festival that my producing partner and I have had. The in-depth workshops led by industry professionals were extremely well done and helped to supply invaluable information to filmmakers and film lovers alike. The Rogers Short Film Festival went above and beyond in all aspects and we can't wait to submit more work here in the future.

    This is a wonderful festival that showcases a wide selection of short films and breaks up the programming in a way that I've never seen at any other event. Rather than a long block of shorts, they space the films out throughout the days, which allows people to see all the films. Highly recommend! Not to mention Northwest Arkansas is a wonderful place to visit.

    The leadership of RSFF set the tone of incredible hospitality and a positive, uplifting atmosphere. The films are showcased in quality and with a fun environment.

    Filmmakers and VIPs are provided top-notch meals throughout the festival with ample opportunity to connect and talk in comfortable locations. You feel truly honored as a filmmaker, no matter if you're a student, a professional or a range in between.

    The experienced judges mingle among the filmmakers and are ready to provide great discussion and constructive feedback. Screened films were a wide range of style, perspective and genre, with quality being the consistent thread.

    I can't wait to return and hope to submit again to this festival! It's 100% worth it!

    I was not able to attend due to competing activities, but was so pleased with the level of communication I received from the festival curators. The electronic program and laurels were both awesome! Great graphics work. A very nice group of organizers.
