Unfortunately, we are unable to respond with any feedback or explanations if your film is not accepted. Entry form and the film must be received by April 25, 2020, by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time.
If my film is selected, should I attend the festival?
Definitely! You should begin thinking about plans to attend the festival soon as you submit your film. Over 300 young filmmakers and industry tastemakers will attend, making RTRG a once-in-a-lifetime experience, unlike any other digital youth film event.
Reasons to attend RTRG:
• See your film shown in a state-of-the-art theater and grow as a filmmaker by receiving audience feedback following your film’s screening.

No. Our festival's main focus is on narrative films and documentaries.

How are the films selected? Who watches them?
A team of RTRG curators watches every film that is submitted. Each film is watched by at least three people and then a decision is made by a final vote. Selection panelists rate films on voice, storytelling, filmmaking techniques, artistic excellence/merit, and general audience appeal.
