As China's inaugural mountain film festival, the Qinling Mountains Film Festival offers filmmakers, musicians, and scriptwriters an unparalleled platform to showcase their work. Nestled within the mighty Qinling Mountains, often revered as the "万山之祖" (Ancestor of All Mountains), our festival is hosted at the Ao Mountain Ski Resort, situated on Ao Mountain, the second-highest peak in the Qinling range. This renowned resort attracts over 400,000 tourists annually, providing a vibrant and dynamic setting that ensures your work reaches a diverse and substantial audience.

We welcome submissions of short films under 30 minutes that delve into themes of mountain culture, outdoor adventure, humanity's relationship with nature, and sustainability. Musicians across genres are invited to participate, especially those whose work resonates with our festival's ethos of harmony between culture and the environment. Scriptwriters with compelling narratives exploring our core themes are also encouraged to submit their scripts for consideration.

While we may be new and modest in size, our ambitions are vast. As Lao Tzu said, "Great acts are made up of small deeds." Our goal is to become a festival that not only celebrates the fusion of art and nature but also achieves significant international recognition, establishing ourselves at the forefront of China's mountain film scene.
