Our sincere gratitude to the Quetzalcóatl International Indigenous Film Festival (QIIFF) and all those who made it possible. This festival is an essential space for the visibility and recognition of Indigenous peoples and cultures around the world.

We are honored to have presented Life with the Pewen, a documentary that portrays the lives of three Mapuche-Pewenche individuals from the southern Chilean mountain range and their deep connection to their lands and forests.

The recognition received at this festival is especially meaningful to us. Winning two awards—Best Feature Documentary and Best Documentary Screenplay—is undoubtedly a posthumous tribute to the work and legacy of Juan Carlos Gedda, Chilean documentary filmmaker and nature photographer, director of this film, who sadly passed away just over a year ago.

Thank you so much for everything!
