Pozarevac Film Festival

SRPSKI (ENGLISH BELLOW)

Naša ideologija su dobri filmovi za dobru publiku. Fokusiramo se na duge razgovore i diskusije (Q&A) nakon svakog kratkog filma (nema blokova filmova pa zajedničkih razgovora na kraju). Trudimo se da dovedemo sve autore na festival.

Takođe, puštamo i dugometražne filmove ali kao propratni program zato što u fokus stavljamo kratke!

Smeštaj i hrana su obezbeđeni za sve selektovane autore filmova. Nažalost, putne troškove možemo pokriti samo učesnicima koji dolaze iz Srbije.

Požarevac je mali grad u istočnoj Srbiji, a Požarevački Festival Filma ili jednostavno POFF je značajan alternativni lokalni kulturni događaj koji se održava na nekoliko lokacija u gradu. Naš glavni prostor je Centar za kulturu Požarevac, ali se trudimo da dobre filmove približimo široj lokalnoj publici organizovanjem projekcija i razgovora u lokalnim barovima, pabovima i klubovima.

Naše programske celine:

VATRA (FIRE) / Međunarodni kratki filmovi

Ova sekcija je otvorena za filmove iz celog sveta (izuzev Srbije).
Ne postoji ograničenje u pogledu datuma produkcije filma, kao ni starosna granica za autore. Filmovi mogu biti bilo kog žanra, stila i rađeni bilo kojom tehnikom.

BAKLJE (FLAMBEAUX) / Srpski kratki filmovi

Ova sekcija je otvorena isključivo za filmove koji su:
Proizvedeni, napravljeni ili snimljeni u Srbiji;
Producirani, napravljeni, režirani i/ili napisani od strane umetnika iz Srbije;
Tematski snažno povezani sa Srbijom.

VAŽNO: Odabrani autori u ovoj sekciji su u obavezi da budu fizički prisutni tokom projekcije svog filma u Požarevcu. Festival pokriva troškove smeštaja, hrane i putne troškove unutar Srbije.

VARNICE (SPARKLES) - WIP projekti (projekti u fazi post produkcije)

Ova sekcija je posvećena projektima kratkog filma koji su u fazi postprodukcije.
Festival će organizovati privatnu projekciju sa filmskim profesionalcima i ciljnom grupom publike koji će dati fidbek tokom jednočasovne vođene diskusije.
Pre finalne selekcije, prijavljeni autori mogu biti pozvani na Zoom intervju kako bi razgovarali o svojoj ciljnoj grupi i profesionalcima od kojih bi želeli da dobiju fidbek.

ŠIBICE (MATCHES) - revijalni program

Ovaj program je posvećen filmovima koje su režirali studenti SRPSKIH filmskih akademija i škola, a koji ne studiraju filmsku režiju.

Ako ste student produkcije, montaže, kamere, teorije filma, dramaturgije, animacije ili bilo čega drugog... a napravili ste film tokom studija, ova sekcija je za vas.

VAŽNO: Odabrani autori u ovoj sekciji su u obavezi da budu fizički prisutni tokom projekcije svog filma u Požarevcu. Festival pokriva troškove smeštaja, hrane i putne troškove unutar Srbije.

KRIJES - Dugometražni filmovi

Kao prateći program puštamo dugometražne filmove u sklopu našeg festivala. Svakako, svi selektovani autori imaće obezbeđen smeštaj.

ENGLISH:

Our ideology is to make good films for a good audience. We focus on long talks and Q&As after each short film (no blocks of films and then shorts Q&As after. We put our effort into bringing all the authors to the festival.

We are also screening feature films but as a side, non competitive section.

Accommodation and food is provided for all selected filmmakers. Unfortunately we can cover travel costs only to participants coming from inside of Serbia.

Požarevac is a small town in eastern Serbia and Požarevac Film Festival or simply POFF is a valuable alternative local cultural event held in a variety of local venues. Our main venue is the Culture Center of Požarevac, however we put effort into bringing good films to a wider local audience by organising screenings and talks in local bars, pubs and clubs.

Our sections:

FIRE / Short International program

This section is open to films from all over the world (excluding Serbia).
There is no limit on the date of production of the film. Also no limit on the age of the author. Films can be from any genre, style and done with any technique.

FLAMBEAUX / Serbian short films

This section is open only to films which are:
- Produced, made or filmed in Serbia;
- Producer, made, directed and/or written by a Serbian artist;
- strongly related to Serbia in terms of theme.

IMPORTANT: Selected authors in this section are obliged to be fiscally present during the screening of their film in Požarevac. The festival is covering accommodation, food and travel expenses within Serbia.

SPARKLES - WIP Projects

This section is dedicated for short film projects in postproduction.
Festival will organise a private screening with film professionals and targeted audience who will be giving their feedback during one hour discussion.

Before final selection, submitters might be invited for a zoom interview in order to discuss their target audience and professionals they would prefer getting feedback from.

MATCHES - non competitive program

This program is dedicated for films directed by students of SERBIAN film and cinema programs who are not studying film directing.

If you are a student of production, editing, cinematography, film theory or dramaturgy, animation, or basically anything else... and you made a film during your studies. This section is for you.

IMPORTANT: Selected authors in this section are obliged to be fiscally present during the screening of their film in Požarevac. The festival is covering accommodation, food and travel expenses within Serbia.

BONFIRE - FEATURE FILMS

We screen features as a side, non competitive program of the festival because we want to put higher focus on shorts. Of course, all selected authors are invited to the festival.
