PIMFF or Pakistan International Mountain Film Festival is ready for the year 2022. The theme for PIMFF 2022 is "Saving Indus".

Please note that at PIMFF we mostly screen short films, documentaries, features, and animations related to mountains, adventure sports, nature, environment, climate change, mountain tourism, cultures and mountain communities etc. Please do not submit anything besides the above-mentioned category. It will be immediately disqualified. Thank you.

Note: Any films by filmmakers among the festival staff and jury will not be a part of the festival competition.

Awards & Prizes

All the films shortlisted for screening at PIMFF 2022 will be judged by a national & international jury and awards will be given in the following categories:

Best Picture
Best Picture (Audience Award)
Best Picture (Culture & Environment Category)

Rules & Terms

We will take original films with English subtitles and we will not accept those that were submitted to previous editions of the festival unless an exemption is offered.
