Happy to have our short short selected for this fest! Wish it was in-person, but the online hospitality was nothing short of a 10!

  • I am absolutely thrilled to announce that my film "IN DREAMS BEGIN..." won the Best LGBTQ Jury Award and Audience Award at the Paris Short Film Festival 2023! This is a huge honor, and I owe it all to the amazing team behind this project.

The PSFF has always provided an incredible platform for both filmmakers and audiences alike. This year's online format allowed us to reach viewers from around the world, making our work accessible in places we wouldn't have been able to reach before. It was also great being part of such an inclusive festival that celebrates diversity in its programming – something which is so important right now.

To everyone who voted for “IN DREAMS BEGIN…” – thank you! And thank you again, PSFF, for providing such an amazing platform where these stories can be shared with others across borders and cultures - your support makes all things possible!

I cannot speak highly enough regarding the Paris Short Film Festival. The committee has been quite professional, communicative, and to be honest, very flexible. I am a big fan of the wide range of their 2023 lineup, and look forward to the 2024 festival. Kudos on every level!

As the director of the short experimental film "STEPS TO VALHALLA OR WHO TENDS THE SHEEP" which was officially selected by the jury for the Paris Short Film Festival 2023, I had the opportunity to participate in the festival, and I must say that despite the online format, the festival managed to provide a great experience for both the filmmakers and the audience.

The online platform allowed a wider audience to access the films, as they could be viewed from anywhere in the world. The festival had a well-designed website where all the films were easily accessible and had an efficient streaming service that worked seamlessly.

The selection of films was diverse and impressive, showcasing a wide range of genres and styles. It was great to see how experimental films were given their deserved attention, with some truly unique and thought-provoking works being shown.

Overall, the Paris Short Film Festival 2023 was a well-organized and engaging event. It provided a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work and reach a wide audience, and I am honoured to have been a part of it.
