*Web Series World Cup Participant!*

Just ten days after our first festival took place, we became one of FilmFreeway's Best-Reviewed Festivals -- and now as we enter our fourth year, we continue to get bigger and better thanks to the amazing talent that has been part of our events! Thank you to all the creators who took time to leave thoughtful reviews! We are #AllAboutTheCreators, and they clearly felt it! Just read the reviews and see for yourself.

Submissions from all over the world, and from every genre, are welcome. Quality is the only criteria: we want to showcase the very best.

We accept webseries, short films, pilots, trailers, music videos, narrative fiction podcasts, actual play fiction podcasts, actual play livestreams, and short scripts, so that all digital creators can experience the #JerseyMagic! (See our Rules section for more deets on submitting.)

Those who attend will be treated to a screening of their project at the beautiful Clairidge Movie Theater, so you can grab some popcorn and see your work up on the Big Screen!🍿 You will also have the opportunity to network and mingle with industry powerhouses, special guests, and fellow creators at the terrific 505 Cinema, where we hold our workshops and panels. Of course, parties will be part of the festivities throughout the weekend!

And our wonderful Awards Ceremony gives you the opportunity to eat, drink, and celebrate your work! Check out the pics, and follow our social media for videos from the events. You've never been to a festival like the #NJWebFest.

These are some of the honors that are expected for 2022 (subject to change, depending on submissions.)

1. If you've uploaded a video file to FilmFreeway, great! But web series creators should also include a link for us to view your entire series. We are lovers of web series, and want to watch every episode before making our selections. You can also email us the link to your show at info@newjerseywebfest.com. IF IT IS PASSWORD-PROTECTED, please make sure to provide us with the password.

2. Fiction Podcast creators: when you join FilmFreeway, you can upload your audio file by categorizing your work as "Music/Songwriting." It's currently the only category that allows you to upload audio-only files (but we're working with FilmFreeway on updating that!) :) So, get your work up and submit to get the film festival experience! Visit
newjerseywebfest.com/film-freeway-podcasts for more detailed instructions. Contact podcasts@newjerseywebfest.com if you have any questions.

3. There is no length requirement or limit to submit. Quality is our only criteria. So make it good! :) Please note, however, that if you get selected, we may ask for a truncated version of your project for screening purposes, depending on the length of your episodes.

4. Web series that have a spoken language other than English must be subtitled in English. If your fiction podcast is in a language other than English, we need you to email us an English transcript after submitting (email it to info@newjerseywebfest.com; include your tracking number in the subject line). Music videos don't need to be subtitled or translated.

5. Actual Play Livestream creators: Your show must stream live on the internet, no edited pre-recorded shows are eligible in this category. Your back catalogue must be available for us to look through should we like. Please submit a single episode from your back catalogue that you feel best exemplifies your show. Please also include a link to the platform where your show streams live, as well as to your back catalogue if it is held somewhere else. Contact podcasts@newjerseywebfest.com if you have any questions.

6. Official Selections will be announced on or before August 1, 2022.

7. Award nominees will be announced on or before August 15, 2022.

8. Event date: September 22-25, 2022.

From Christopher R. Owens, President, CESO Enterprises, Inc. crowens@cesony.com:

On behalf of CESO ENTERPRISES, INC., Alyssa Dann, Chris Oledude, and all of our production participants, I would like to compliment the organizers and operators of New Jersey Web Festival. When we created our first music video (which was long enough to be a short film), we knew nothing about film festivals. With the help of FilmFreeway, we started researching. The categories were good. Everyone who contacted us on behalf of this festival was helpful. The submissions looked excellent.

It was indeed exciting to discover this new world and to be so warmly welcomed by the inhabitants! To have GEORGE FLOYD: SAY THEIR NAMES selected for inclusion was an honor in and of itself.

We were happy to “get the word out” and continue motivating people worldwide to consider the injustices embedded within our nation’s criminal justice system. After all, situations where a powerful segment of the population uses its law enforcement apparatus to abuse and oppress other segments of the population are recognizable in and common too many societies.
We recommend submitting your work and we certainly intend to participate again in the future.

    Peace and stay safe!

I cannot say enough good things about NJWF, Neem and founders. Pre festival communication allowed for filmmakers to feel the excitement of the festival approaching, and really feel part of a community. The festival truly supports their artists. The festival itself was amazing, from the screenings and networking to the stunning awards reception. The reception was outstanding, and such an amazing way to end the festival. It also created such good energy and joy amongst all the artists , and will definitely remain a very happy memory on the festival scene, especially now. Cannot thank NJWF enough for selecting our work and look forward to bringing new work to this special community.

    Response from festival:

Wow, thank you so much for this review, Janel! Means the world to us! Please keep creating awesome content. The world needs more filmmakers like you!

  • NJ Web Festival is an incredible festival that gives filmmakers and web series creators a supportive, creative community to share their work with. Everyone I encountered was genuinely excited to network, watch, and discuss the projects selected by the festival. Closing night was a beautiful celebration of many talented and hard working individuals and the work that they created. Hope to join in on the fun again next year!

    Response from festival:

Thanks so much Yesi! The atmosphere you described is what we thrive to achieve, so when we see reviews like this - where a creator FELT the magic - it means the world to us. Thank you!

  • Andrew Morgan

I'm a 40 year industry Actor, Writer and Producer. My son has just begun his journey in the craft, with this in mind we wrote a series "Wallpaper" with the solo aim of making this festival. I had a project in it in the 2019 festival but had to cancel attending at the last minute so this time we had to come over. We travelled for 5 weeks because of government enforced MIQ. It was totally worth it. The event was outstanding. The screening venue was large and comfortable. There were many artists attending and therefore networking was at its highest level. We have already begun projects with new found friends. The Gala awards night was 2nd to none. All the glamour and glitz of any event ever held. We felt like stars. The director Neem Basha and his team made the whole experience a total joy. If you have a Web series or a Podcast that you are proud of then I highly recommend you put the New Jersey Webfest on your must attend tour list. You will feel the magic and make your dreams come true.

The New Jersey Web Festival was an incredible experience that we will never forget! The screenings were great
and everyone was so supportive and friendly to one another. And of course, the Gala was
AMAZING! It was such a gorgeous venue and it was very nicely set up. Winning the Outstanding Web Series Trailer
award was one of the greatest and most magical moments! Thank you so much, Neem and your awesome team
for hosting such a great festival! We were certainly feeling the magic! - Producer LaTasia Greene & the AbSolved Team
