My name is Myles Ross, and for the last 6+ years, I have committed myself to visual storytelling, and all aspects of the art. Since the dwindling years of grade school, when I first found my love for cinema, and had my first attempt (and subsequent failure) at the production process, film theory, online distribution and all the possible canals of storytelling have been pumping through my blood stream.
I have nearly a half decade's experience in both online content creation for video (many featured on my YouTube Channel: Filmxfilms), I've been film festivals from Austin to Sicily, and as an alumni and graduate of the Seattle Film Institute's I currently work both as a freelance videographer and camera-op for productions in the Seattle area, as well as a frequent participant in the festival circuit.
Director's note,
Outside of my personal work, I currently do freelance videography and commissioned videos. On camera work is my specialty (Lenses, blocking, F-stops, Cam-op positions), but I'm FAR from a stranger to both the pre production and post-production world (I.E. Scripting, Call times, Locations, familiarity with Premiere and the Adobe CC Suite). I currently write, shoot, and edit all my work.
The films submitted here, are the la crème of everything I've directed from my high-school years. Some made for school classes, but many made on my own time and effort, and all written and directed by me, made from my deepest place of passion and pride as a creative.
