Documentry art/drama or animation 1 to 30 min and 30 to 60 Minutes. Feature Film 60 to 140 min. with HD. FHD, 4k Quality, Please note that the size of the fim you submit should be limited to upto 1 to 10 GB max
MUMBA International Film Festival is open to all filmmakers in the world, you can submit films from anywhere in the world.
Once a film is submitted, it cannot be changed again.
As with other festivals, your fee is paid for your film to be considered. If you do not follow with the festival rules and Conditions , your submission will be disqualified If your film is not accepted, your submission fee is not refunded.
All applicants will be notified by two weeks before the festival date.
According to festival policy, if any error occurs in your video during screening, it will be the sole responsibility of the submitter. Please check the video before submitting it
If submitting more than one film, a separate form should be filled out for each submission. In the same way separate fees will also have to be paid
A film once submitted cannot be changes for any reason, if you want to any changes, you have to submit a new submission.
You may submit your film even if it does not have a CBFC (Censor) Certificate. there is no need to worry about this at the submission stage.
All languages are acceptable

The theme of the short film festival is open. Filmmakers may submit films on any subject and in any language.
Free to View: Free entry for everyone
The makers of the award-winning films must be present at the festival, if the award is announced and the makers of the film are not present, the prize will not be sent online.
Subtitles are not required if the film you submit is in Marathi or Hindi language. But if your movie is in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and English or etc. then subtitles are necessary for that.
You can make a film on any subject, films on all subjects will be accepted acceptable
filmmakers coming from outside the village and also from outside the state will have to bear their own travel and accommodation expenses, which will not be provided by the festival.
Selection Process: Festival organizers review the submitted films and select a lineup based on their criteria, such as artistic merit, thematic relevance, technical quality, and overall programming goals. The selection process may involve multiple rounds of screenings and evaluations.
Notification: Once the selection process is complete, festival organizers send out formal invitations to the chosen filmmakers. The invitations usually include details about the screening schedule, venue, events, and any specific requirements or instructions.
Acceptance and Confirmation: Filmmakers who receive invitations must confirm their acceptance by responding to the festival organizers within a specified timeframe. This confirmation allows the festival to finalize the screening schedule and make necessary arrangements.
Promotion and Publicity: Film festivals often request promotional materials such as stills, trailers, posters, and filmmaker bios for marketing and publicity purposes. Filmmakers are usually asked to provide these materials to help promote their films and the festival.
After the prize winners are officially announced, the concerned winner must submit their banking details to the Festival Committee within the next 7 (seven) days in writing or via email. If the required information is not received by the Festival Committee within the stipulated period, the prize amount shall be carried forward and disbursed in the following year, and the decision of the Festival Committee shall be final.
Laurel Issuance Rule
Award Winner Laurels and Official Selection Laurels are issued only during the festival period. If any participant does not receive their laurel, they must contact the festival team and request it within the festival duration. No laurels will be issued after the festival has concluded.

1. Every submitted film is carefully reviewed and considered by the Official Selection Committee. Due to the limited number of screening slots and the large volume of submissions received, only a select number of films can be included in the festival's Official Selection, screening program, nominations, and awards.
2. The festival receives a large number of submissions every year. Due to limited screening slots, venue capacity, scheduling restrictions, and programming requirements, only a small percentage of submitted films may be selected.
3. All selection decisions are made solely by the festival programming team and jury panel. Their decisions are final and cannot be challenged, appealed, or disputed.
4. Submission fees are non-refundable and are collected to cover administrative processing, reviewing, technical evaluation, communication, and festival operational expenses.
5. Non-selection of a film does not imply poor quality. Many excellent films may not be selected due to programming limitations, category balance, running-time restrictions, or other festival requirements.
6. The festival reserves the right to determine the final screening schedule, category placement, screening venue, and screening duration.
7. Any abusive language, threats, harassment, intimidation, defamation, false allegations, social media attacks, or disruptive behavior directed toward festival staff, jury members, partners, sponsors, volunteers, or attendees may result in immediate disqualification and permanent banning from future festival participation.
8. Any attempt to disrupt festival activities, screening events, award ceremonies, or official programs may be reported to the appropriate authorities and legal action may be pursued where necessary.
9. By submitting a film, the filmmaker confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted all festival rules, regulations, and policies.
10. Submission of a film constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
11. Official Selection and programming decisions are made exclusively by the Festival Selection Committee and Jury Panel based on artistic, technical, creative, and programming considerations.
The Festival Organizing Committee does not participate in, influence, or interfere with the selection process, rejection, nomination, ranking, or award decisions of submitted films. All decisions made by the Selection Committee and Jury Panel shall be considered final and binding.
12. For security, privacy, and independent evaluation purposes, the names and identities of the Official Selection Committee and Jury Panel members will remain confidential during the selection process. Their names may be officially announced and published by during the festival at the sole discretion of the festival management.
