Muhammed Bozbey is an award-winning Turkish film director and writer.
Born in 1988 in Turkiye, Bozbey spent his childhood and youth in Istanbul. Growing up immersed in the arts, he took part in many artistic activities ranging from concerts to theater performances.
In 2008, he was admitted to the State Conservatory of Gaziantep University, and a year later he continued his education at Haliç University Conservatory in Istanbul, graduating in 2013. His journey from the performing arts to cinema transformed him into a storyteller who fully embraces artistic expression, carrying stories from the stage to the big screen
Between 2013 and 2016, he worked as an editor and critic at Kashna Publishing House, a period that deepened his narrative style both on stage and in writing.
From 2014 to 2016, he performed as a theater actor at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Performing Arts Center and directed music videos and promotional films during the same period. In 2016, he moved to the United States to study film directing in Los Angeles.
After returning to Türkiye, he reached wide audiences with the films he produced, wrote, and directed, which were screened at national and international festivals and received multiple awards.
With the aim of sharing his knowledge in cinema and media with younger generations, he organizes conferences, talks, and workshops at universities and cultural centers. He is also the author of the book series “One of Us: Noah’s Stage”and the founder of Bozbey Film Production, where he continues his artistic work with determination.
