CALL FOR DANCE FILMS and VIDEO PERFORMANCE 
EDITION 2024

We are looking for dance films, dance for camera, short dance or movement-focused films, that reflect what's mean to be an artist in the present today's society. How them work can reflect the condition of world full of social conflicts.
The length should be not longer than 5minutes.
The selected videos will be screened on 17-19 July 2024 in Naples at TAN ( Teatro Area Nord)
All selected films will be eligible to receive the Jury Prize and an audience special mention award

PLEASE DO NOT SEND VIDEOS THAT ARE NOT RELATED WITH DANCE OR PERFOMANCE

PLACES
The main location will be the Teatro Area Nord in Naples

This year's edition will focus on artistic languages ​​that investigate the role of the artist in continuously changing contemporary society.
In a world full of conflicts and inequalities,What role can the artist have?
We will encourage those dance and video works that are in relationship with this theme.

Awards & Prizes

All selected project will receive a ‘Movimentale dance and video Festival - Official Selection’ digital laurel.
The best video work, selected by the Festival jury, will be awarded with he financial support of 300€

Rules & Terms

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING
16 June 2024

In relationship with the main theme of the edition 2024 we encourage dance filmmakers to submit video dance films, films related to choreography and movement, dance short films between 1 and5minutes.

- 
In case of spoken languages, the films must have subtitles in English
- 
By submitting, the participant declares to be responsible for any legal rights requirements releasing the festival from any legal claims, liabilities and damages. 

- By submitting your work, you give permission for us to screen the film at our official venue and to use your posters/trailers/marketing materials for the promotion of the festival.
- All the artists will be notified by e-mail


Please provide a high resolution copy of the screenings encoded in .mp4 or .mov files

- Include at least 3 still photos HD resolution. Please give photo credit.


All works should be submitted through FilmFreeway.
