Miami Web Fest is the Film Festival for Web Series; a film festival showcasing the hottest new web series content from around the world. The event is designed to create a work-play environment, attracting Miami’s vast and multicultural community of arts enthusiasts. For attendees, Miami Web Fest is a “window into the future” of new media, allowing the general public to see independently produced shows before they are discovered by big television networks and media entities. It’s also a chance to party and mingle with the stars of the New Digital Age at some of the most exclusive hotspots in Miami!

Creating web series allows independent filmmakers to have more control over their own ability to gain followers and worldwide recognition. Miami Web Fest allows these unconventional filmmakers to experience the conventional benefits of an international film festival, including theater screenings, exclusive parties, and an elaborate Awards Ceremony. Several MIAMI WEB FEST winners have experienced professional success beyond the festival, including distribution on networks like Netflix and Amazon.

Rules & Terms

1. Submissions are only accepted through FilmFreeway. Please be sure that your FilmFreeway profile is filled out fully, including all relevant social media links, poster and trailer. If selected, required deliverables will include poster, trailer, screener.

2. There is no length requirement or limit to submit, however, if you are selected, however you may be required to provide a shorter version of your project for screening, depending on the length of your project.

    Had a lovely experience top to bottom. Communication was excellent and when we experienced a technical issue the team took care of it without delay. So happy we got to be a part of this year’s festival. We weren’t able to attend in person but could see that much consideration was given to networking and hospitality.

    We were unable to attend the festival in person, but thanks to Miami's social Media footprint it felt like we were there. This fest is well regarded and the organizers have created what appeared to be a very fun festival with lots of parties and events. This fest is also part of the Web Series World Cup. Recommend the submission!

    Awesome, amazing, incredible, outstanding professionals, I have no words to describe this festival, It's an honor to have been nominated and to won two awards. All the event was amazing and the host Bryan Thompson was there for all of us. They take care of your film and marketing which is very important for indie filmmakers. Our Web series pilot is called Los Aspirantes-The Applicants-
    We are really thankful for the recognition of our work.
    We enjoyed the gala, the events and all the mates were son nice. We will definitely submit again next year. We highly recommend Miami We Fest.
