2.(only for Screenplay Award)Please provide relevant info, including the following: the name of the screenplay；the name of the screenwriter; a synopsis of the screenplay(600 words or less); a contact email for the screenwriter.
3.All films must have English subtitles at the time submitted.Failure to provide working subtitles will result disqualification without refund of submission fees.
4.(only for Screenplay Award)All screenplays must be English.
5.All submissions must be the final, we do not accept resend.
6.All submission fees are to be paid through FilmFreeway. The submission fee is non-refundable.
7.All films must have been completed after January 1, 2017. Except Screenplay Award
8.Short films should be 30 minutes or under, and feature films should be over 50 minutes.
9.Premiere is not required.
10.All films must be in MP4 1080p format.
11.All films must be the original work of the applicants. If a film is based upon another person’s life or upon a book or other underlying work, applicant(s) must secure any necessary rights to make such adaptations.
12.(only for Screenplay Award)All screenplays must be original and unproduced.
13.(only for Screenplay Award)We accept all screenplays in any length.
14.Applicants are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights and permissions for third-party materials included in their films, including but not limited to music, trademarks, logos, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. We expressly disclaims all liability or responsibility for any violations of the foregoing.
15.The film festival will have the right to use footage, trailer, posters, stills, synopsis, and/or titles and information from the film for promotional purpose only through FilmFreeway or on the Festival’s website and the social media.
16.The film festival will have the right to show all films online or in the cinema/theater. We do not show feature films online.
17.(only for Screenplay Award)The film festival will have the right to show all trailers, posters, stills, logline, synopsis online.
18.The festival reserves the right to change any information (including festival dates, venues, events, awards and eligibility requirements) without further notice.
