1.Please provide relevant info, including the following: the name of the video; the name of the filmmaker(s); a brief introduction of the video (100 words or less); a contact email for the filmmaker(s); a horizontal poster and a vertical poster.
2.All videos must have English subtitles at the time submitted. Failure to provide working subtitles will result disqualification without refund of submission fees.
3.All submissions must be the final, we do not accept resend.
4.All submission fees are to be paid through FilmFreeway. The submission fee is non-refundable.
5.All videos must have been completed after January 1, 2017.
6.Feature-length film should be over 50 minutes.
7.Premiere is not required.
8.All videos must be in MP4 format.
9.All videos must be the original work of the applicants. If a video is based upon another person’s life or upon a book or other underlying work, applicant(s) must secure any necessary rights to make such adaptations.
10.Applicants are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights and permissions for third-party materials included in their films, including but not limited to music, trademarks, logos, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. We expressly disclaims all liability or responsibility for any violations of the foregoing.
11.The film festival will have the right to use footage, trailer, posters, stills, synopsis, and/or titles and information from the film for promotional purpose only through FilmFreeway or on the Festival’s website and the social media.
12.The film festival will have the right to show all films online or in the cinema/theater.
13.The festival reserves the right to change or cancel any information (including festival dates, venues, events, awards and eligibility requirements) without further notice.
