Processo di Iscrizione
L'iscrizione del film tramite FilmFreeway è l'unico metodo di candidatura consentito.
Nomina della Giuria
La giuria, composta da attori e registi emergenti, invierà la comunicazione di vittoria agli autori in anticipo, circa quattro settimane prima, per permettere loro di partecipare al festival e ricevere il premio.
Modalità di Voto del Pubblico
Durante il Marte Film Festival verrà generato un QR code per permettere al pubblico, che assisterà alle proiezioni di cortometraggi, documentari e lungometraggi durante i tre giorni, di selezionare il proprio preferito. Infine, l'ultimo giorno, durante la cerimonia di premiazione verrà consegnato il Premio del Pubblico al progetto vincente.
Annuncio dei Risultati e Invito dei Vincitori
Gli autori dei film vincitori per ogni categoria saranno annunciati durante il giorno delle premiazioni e i film saranno proiettati per la presentazione al pubblico. Durante la cerimonia di premiazione, l'autore sarà invitato a registrare un episodio di un podcast dedicato alla sua opera.
Dichiarazione di Responsabilità sui Diritti del Film
Colui che candida il film (produttore, distributore o regista) si assume tutte le responsabilità riguardo all'opera iscritta; ovvero garantisce di possedere tutti i diritti del film stesso. Nello specifico: i diritti per l'uso della musica e delle immagini, nonché i diritti di utilizzo delle prestazioni degli attori e delle comparse.
Iscrizione del Film
L'iscrizione di un film al festival implica l'aver letto e accettato le regole qui indicate, sollevando MARTESTUDIOS SRL da ogni responsabilità.
Foro Competente
Per eventuali controversie legali relative all'iscrizione dei film o alla partecipazione al festival, la competenza esclusiva sarà del foro di Roma. Partecipando al festival, si accetta che qualsiasi controversia legale venga risolta presso il tribunale di Roma.
REGOLE TECNICHE
1. Tutti i film devono avere i sottotitoli in inglese o in italiano.
2. Il Marte Film Festival accetta esclusivamente candidature in formato digitale e in qualità HD (720p o superiore).
3. La durata totale dei cortometraggi è di massimo 52 minuti, quella dei lungometraggi è superiore a 52 minuti.
4. Nelle categorie Finzione (Fiction), Animazione e Documentario è possibile candidare film provenienti da tutto il mondo.
5. Ogni autore/regista può candidare più progetti, ma ogni produzione deve essere accompagnata da un'iscrizione e da una quota di partecipazione separate.
6. Tutte le quote di iscrizione non sono rimborsabili.
7. L'autore deve certificare di detenere la totalità dei diritti. È responsabile dell'acquisizione di copyright, licenze e liberatorie per i materiali multimediali utilizzati nei propri film. L'autore manleverà e terrà indenni gli organizzatori del Festival da qualsiasi reclamo, richiesta, costo, danno, spesa (incluse le spese legali), procedimento e perdita derivante dalla proiezione del film al Festival o da reclami da parte di terzi.
8. I film iscritti non devono fomentare conflitti razziali, etnici, religiosi, di genere o politici, non devono incitare a reati o ad altre violazioni di legge e non devono essere di natura pornografica. I candidati i cui film non soddisfano questi requisiti possono essere esclusi dal concorso dagli Organizzatori.
9. Candidando il proprio film, l'autore concede al Marte Film Festival il diritto di pubblicare locandine, trailer, link al sito web e ai social media sul sito del festival. Se l'autore desidera mantenere privato il proprio film, verranno menzionati esclusivamente il titolo del film, il regista e verrà pubblicata la locandina (se disponibile).
10. Il Festival tratta tutte le candidature con la massima cura e riservatezza. L'autore accetta che, qualora il suo film venga selezionato per una proiezione pubblica o online, il Festival possa scaricarlo ai fini della proiezione. L'autore non richiede alcun compenso economico per la proiezione.
11. Tutti i film selezionati e i vincitori riceveranno gli allori (laurels) e i certificati via email. I premi fisici verranno consegnati alla premiazione.
12. Le decisioni della giuria sono insindacabili e definitive.
13. Il Festival si riserva il diritto di apportare eventuali modifiche necessarie al regolamento o alla programmazione.

GENERAL RULES
Registration Process
- Submitting for movie on FilmFreeway is the only method of submission.
Jury Appointment
- The jury, composed by emerging actors and filmmakers, will send the winning notification to the authors approximately four weeks in advance, to allow them to attend the festival and receive their award.
Audience Voting Method
- During the Marte Film Festival, a QR code will be generated to allow the audience watching the short films, documentaries, and feature films over the three days to select their favorite. Then, on the final day at the awards ceremony, the Audience Award will be presented to the winning project.
Announcement of Results and Invitation of Winners
- The authors of the winning films for each category will be announced during the awards day and screened for the public presentation. During the awards ceremony, the author will be invited to record a podcast episode dedicated to their work.
Declaration of Responsibility for Film Rights
- The submitter of the film—whether the producer, distributor, or director—assumes full responsibility for the submitted work; namely, they guarantee that they hold all the rights to the film itself. Specifically: the rights for the use of music and images, as well as the rights to use the performances of the actors and extras.
Film Submission
- Submitting a film to the festival implies having read and accepted the rules stated herein, indemnifying MARTESTUDIOS SRL from any liability.
Jurisdiction
- For any legal disputes related to the submission of films or participation in the festival, the exclusive jurisdiction will be that of Rome. By participating in the festival, you agree that any legal dispute will be resolved in the court of Rome.
TECHNICAL RULES
1. All films must have English subtitles or Italian.
2. Marte Film Festival only accept digital submissions of HD quality (720p or better).
3. The total length of the Short movies is maximum 52 minutes, of the Features movies more than 52 minutes.
4. In the categories Fiction, Animation and Documentary you can submitting films from all over the world.
5. Each filmmaker can submit several projects, but each production must be accompanied by a separate entry and fee.
6. All fees are non-refundable.
7. The filmmaker shall certify to have full rights. They are responsible for acquiring copyrights, licenses and releases for media used in their films. The filmmaker will indemnify the organizers of the Festival against all claims, demands, costs, damages, expenses (including legal fees), proceedings and losses resulting from the screening of the film at the Festival or from claims by any third parties.
8. Films submitted must not strengthen the racial, ethnic, religious, gender or politic conflicts, incitement to offenses or other violations of law or must not be pornographic. Applicants whose films does not meet these requirements can be excluded from the competition by the Organizers.
9. By submitting their film, filmmaker gives Marte Film Festival the right to post their posters, trailers, website and social media links on our website. If the filmmaker wants to keep his movie private, we will only mention the movie title, director and a movie poster (if one is available).
10. The Festival treats all submissions with utmost care and confidentiality. The filmmaker agrees that if his film is selected for public or online screening, the Festival can download it for screening. The filmmaker does not ask any financial compensation for the screening.
11. All selected films and winners will receive the laurels and certificates via email.
The phisical awards will be delivered during the award cerimony.
12. The jury's decision is final.
13. The Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.
