The Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival (LABRFF) is the most important Brazilian film festival in the United States. It was founded in 2007 and has screened over 1500 films including features, documentaries, and shorts.

Rules & Terms
Read before submitting your movie:
All shorts MUST be only up to 20 minutes long.
All movies MUST be subtitled with subtitles in English. If your movies are in English you still need subtitles for accessibility purpose.
Submitting your film does not guarantee festival acceptance or screening. Acceptance into
the festival does not guarantee an award or prize. Submission fees are non-refundable. LABRFF reserves the right to change its programming without notice.
LABRFF is not responsible for your airline tickets and hotel to attend the event.
LABRFF does not pay screening fees.
LABRFF is not responsible for your subtitles, however, we do have a vendor to recommend.
We only accept shorts with a maximum of 20 min. No exceptions.
Films must have been produced from 2024 up to now.
We do not return promotional material sent to us to promote your movie.
You must provide us with all the metadata and trailer in ENGLISH.
If your film is selected you must provide all materials in English including a trailer, digital poster, metadata, etc.
All movies will be screened via digital DCP. Once your movie is selected, you will send the link directly to the theater.
