MOSAICO is the new short film section of the longtake Film Festival in Milan (Italy). In 2023, the fifth edition of longtake Film Festival took place, conceived and organized by longtake, with the support of the City of Milan.

For its fifth edition, the Festival offered a rich program! Five previously unreleased films in competition: "Showing Up" by Kelly Reichardt, "Beautiful Beings" by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson, "1976" by Manuela Martelli, "Shayda" by Noora Niasari and "Songs of Earth" by Margreth Olin. There was also a competition for young film critics, and, as per tradition, some tributes to great films from the past that were chosen by the longtake community through polls.

It was the audience who decided the winning film - "Beautiful Beings" by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson - by voting for their favorite title directly on the Festival's website.

MOSAICO - longtake Film Festival does not offer monetary prizes. Instead, films showcased in MOSAICO at longtake Film Festival have the exciting potential to distribution in Italy, providing filmmakers with an invaluable opportunity to reach new audiences and gain international recognition.
